Hey, for nvidia it should not be a problem for the drivers, you can use wich ever version you like or better works for you. The most important think is the windows update here, and if you manage to stop them the drivers are the last resort.

Never used that app and i also suggest you don't use it too. No real or old miner uses those types of apps to mine with a multi GPU Rig, and i guess there's a reason for that. So use what everyone else uses.

I did that cuz this is for AMD GPU s only, as for nvidia you can try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers or get other drivers, but the other stuff is AMD only.
I have 1660 Super but I can't make it mining I have this GPU as externally connected to my laptop through PCI. I installed the lasted update Nvidia driver and I found the 1660s card installed but when I start mining I get this error: No OpenCL platforms found
@@spintesttech I did that already and I even uninstalled their drivers and there were removed from the device manager. However, when I check the performance in the task manager I can't see the GPU 1660s in the list of operating CPUs/GPUs but only the integrated GPU of the motherboard of the laptop.
@@leggi_edritti oh 9k, then thiseans that the connection is not done correctly, so you should fix that first, i thought you already have the GPU correctly recognized by windows.

Inside the boot I also disabled IPv4 PCI so that it will be used for GPU
apperently it seems fine, but it seems either your laptop does not support that ore either there is a settings in the bios that need to be chenged for it to work, so i would suggest you search in forums that have used your same laptop and see if it is possible

@@bmwq7 yes sure you can do it, if the hashrate is not like now then just enable cumpute mode in AMD app and you should be fine, or if you don't wanna risk it then try an older version on MSI afterburner

Well that's normal cuz you don't have a GPU that can mine. Integrated GPUs have never been able to mine, you need an external GPU with a minimum of 3GB and a minimum of 6GB if you wanna mine Ethereum.
unfortunately this is a very old video, so i don't think it will be the same after all this years, you can try newer drivers and set them as compute or you install HiveOS in a flash drive and mine from there, i have a hole playlist of videos how you can use HiveOS.

Unfortunately the quandro 600 is not capable of mining, those who report that may have a different GPU, as for the CPU it should be straight forward with Nice Hash. If you can't make it run i have another video for another app you can mine with your CPU, but still i do not recommend it cuz it's not worth it, unless you have free energy or don't care about you CPU

I followed all the steps in the video but I'm not sure if it worked or not because when I opened kryptex to start mining I didn't find the GPU and I re-benchmarked but sill it didn't show up and it said my drivers are outdated, so I thought maybe I should do the last step to downgrade the PCs software but I couldn't. so what should I do next? Hello, I am trying to mine ERGO using Team Red Miner. One of my RX 550 4GB GPUs is mining it just fine. However, the other RX 550 4GB is not mining it at all. I see the message: *Failed To Initialize Device idx 0 (-8).* Any idea how I can fix this please?

I had minner working perfectly and with windows update disabled, after some days i restarted pc and i got this message, no AMD cuda... I have no driver problems, i patched and stuff and still same error, what can i do?
First of all check in Device Manager if the cards are all recognized correctly. If they are then check wich version of AMD drvier do you have installed. If all is ok then do i clean reinstall of the Blockchain drivers from 23 of agust, by uninstalling with DDU and then install the new drivers then do the patch and see if it works. If not contact me again.
As you see this a very old video, Claymore is not supported anymore, i would suggest you change miner and try Phoenix miner cos i heard many people fixed it, or otherwise go for a new mining System.
Do i have to download and install the latest AMD driver after installing the blockchain support driver? My card is RX 570, i got 7 of them in a mining rig and got same error like u in claymore, please help
If the blockchain drivers work then you don't have to get the latest one, but if it does not work then you can try the latest drivers or another version that works, but only make sure that when you change drivers, always use DDU to uninstall before installing another version.

If you know how to use phoenix miner then you can try to launch Claymore for the 2 RX 580 and phoenix for the R9. I have never worked but i think it should be the same as RX cards.

@@spintesttech well i found is a fault of the program. I use r19 cinema 4D with the octane of same year. The version is of 2018 and doesnt support RTX graphic card. I need to find 2020 octane but is imposible to found.

Don't worry bro if done everything correctly nothing has happened. If you have a zooming efect on the screen it means you drivers are uninstalled or maybe corrupted if you have done something wrong, but it's all fixable so just do a clean installation through the clean start of windows and you should be fine.

Hey i have done some research and almost all i found report the same problem. Seems it has to do with GPU clock, Mem Clock and PL so try and play around with those settings. Unfortunately i can not do a video cos i sold my last Rig. Here is an article wich you can refer to: forum.hiveos.farm/t/huge-system-load/3437
It can not happen, so basically i think this means that your cards or driver's are not correctly installed. I suggest you do another clean install of the drivers and then retry

This depends on the GPU not on CPU, it has nothing to do with the CPU.

Try and disable the onboard GPU since you made the external 1660s work, hopefully it helps.

First of all Shiba is not a coin you can mine, second you need minimum 3GB GPU to able to mine some coins, but 4GB GPU and up is better.

Well that's normal cuz you don't have a GPU that can mine. Integrated GPUs have never been able to mine, you need an external GPU with a minimum of 3GB and a minimum of 6GB if you wanna mine Ethereum.
Everything worked but the pixel patcher. I got "Failed to locate driver file"
unfortunately this is a very old video, so i don't think it will be the same after all this years, you can try newer drivers and set them as compute or you install HiveOS in a flash drive and mine from there, i have a hole playlist of videos how you can use HiveOS.
But it doesn't work for me.

Unfortunately the quandro 600 is not capable of mining, those who report that may have a different GPU, as for the CPU it should be straight forward with Nice Hash. If you can't make it run i have another video for another app you can mine with your CPU, but still i do not recommend it cuz it's not worth it, unless you have free energy or don't care about you CPU

I followed all the steps in the video but I'm not sure if it worked or not because when I opened kryptex to start mining I didn't find the GPU and I re-benchmarked but sill it didn't show up and it said my drivers are outdated, so I thought maybe I should do the last step to downgrade the PCs software but I couldn't. so what should I do next? I'm installing new drivers for the time being but let me know if there's anything I can do :)

Hello, I am trying to mine ERGO using Team Red Miner. One of my RX 550 4GB GPUs is mining it just fine. However, the other RX 550 4GB is not mining it at all. I see the message: *Failed To Initialize Device idx 0 (-8).* Any idea how I can fix this please?
Actually never mined Ergo so i don't know, but i would suggest you look on the reddit page maybe you will find something there

I had minner working perfectly and with windows update disabled, after some days i restarted pc and i got this message, no AMD cuda... I have no driver problems, i patched and stuff and still same error, what can i do?
First of all check in Device Manager if the cards are all recognized correctly. If they are then check wich version of AMD drvier do you have installed. If all is ok then do i clean reinstall of the Blockchain drivers from 23 of agust, by uninstalling with DDU and then install the new drivers then do the patch and see if it works. If not contact me again.

As you see this a very old video, Claymore is not supported anymore, i would suggest you change miner and try Phoenix miner cos i heard many people fixed it, or otherwise go for a new mining System.

If the blockchain drivers work then you don't have to get the latest one, but if it does not work then you can try the latest drivers or another version that works, but only make sure that when you change drivers, always use DDU to uninstall before installing another version.

If you know how to use phoenix miner then you can try to launch Claymore for the 2 RX 580 and phoenix for the R9. I have never worked but i think it should be the same as RX cards.

What render plugin you're using? Also try go to Device Manager find you GPU there and try reinstall drivers from there, and check if this helps

Don't worry bro if done everything correctly nothing has happened. If you have a zooming efect on the screen it means you drivers are uninstalled or maybe corrupted if you have done something wrong, but it's all fixable so just do a clean installation through the clean start of windows and you should be fine.

I had downloaded this program to support an effect on After effects called VC Orb, but it doesn't let me use it. Hey i have done some research and almost all i found report the same problem. Seems it has to do with GPU clock, Mem Clock and PL so try and play around with those settings. It can not happen, so basically i think this means that your cards or driver's are not correctly installed. I suggest you do another clean install of the drivers and then retry
