5/5. Easy process. Only process that was kind of hard was prying that part out at 2:10. Easy process other than tht. Make sure to keep your window down before you do this process or you will have a difficult time removing the 3rd bolt off the mirror.
thanks ive never done car work before but this seems easy to follow. i know i can take it apart for sure but its putting it back together thats worrying me lol. Gonna ask my Dad to help me!
Great video. But WTF is Toyota doing to their customers? Seriously. The average person couldn’t replace this mirror. It’s Toyota making shit hard to DIY to squeeze their customers check book. What happened to popping the tweeter garnish and removing three bolts and being done. I own a paint collision business and RUclips videos like this really help me save time,thanks again.I really appreciate it. I subscribed and liked. I’m helping my neighbor out and replacing her mirror she blew out on a wall. She’s an older widow on a fixed income so I gotta stay right with the universe. Plus she’s a really sweet,kind older lady that makes me and my kids cupcakes and pies. But damn I wouldn’t own a car that does this to their customers. I’m surprised the mirror shell comes painted and they didn’t make me paint it too

After taken this mirror out can it be uprgraded to the sensor mirror or does it have to be the same mirror?
It can be change to a sensor mirror you just need the blind spot monitors and wire to connect to the mirror

I think it's at 3:15 But otherwise, the part number depends on the options the mirror comes with or if you're going aftermarket or Toyota.
