I totally agree!! I have suffered with depression and terrible anxiety for 5years plus and I try and explain to my son why I clean so much and I say" clean home clean mind " helps with the anxiety and calms and helps me focus and regroup myself!! I agree that watching cleaning videos help relax me ❤
I've always hated cleaning. But 2020 changed all of that. I found myself getting depressed and agitated. I happened to watch a youtube video on organizing the pantry. I decided to do it and I've been cleaning and organizing since! It's very satisfying to see how nice everything can be. :D

Your comment regarding cleaning helps with depression is so true. I find when my house or a certain area in my house is cleaned, organized and decorated, it gives me energy peace and calm. I hope others find cleaning helps the mental slump we sometimes find ourselves in from time to time. Viewing you from the Aloha state.

i cleaned and decluttered every space in my apartment last year. i’m proud of myself. having ocd (diagnosed) i had to find a way to make things FUNCTIONAL. before, it so incredibly organized, it just wasn’t realistic. i struggle with anxiety & depression, so much so, i have a hard time basic functioning. when i read that about you and watched my first video, i was like SUBSCRIBE. jenny is my new girl. it’s been so important for me to make my home (tiny 600 square foot apt) a safe, cozy and calm space. i have a lot of trauma, so feeling safe has been huge. and i LOVE the concept of your channel. i try to think of the feeling of CALM i will have after i clean. in fact, sometimes cleaning is therapeutic. i play classical music as well and light a 🕯. CALM & QUIET. there are so many youtube mamas out there but your channel has that something special. ♥️ i also noticed the growth of your channel. i think i began a couple months ago at @6k? you deserve the recognition and i know it’s not about numbers, but helping people like me, individually. thank you. ♥️

i struggle with anxiety & depression, so much so, i have a hard time basic functioning. when i read that about you and watched my first video, i was like SUBSCRIBE. jenny is my new girl. it’s been so important for me to make my home (tiny 600 square foot apt) a safe, cozy and calm space. i have a lot of trauma, so feeling safe has been huge. and i LOVE the concept of your channel. i try to think of the feeling of CALM i will have after i clean. in fact, sometimes cleaning is therapeutic. i play classical music as well and light a 🕯.
