Yes, I love Cocona singing, her verse after Harvey’s second rap is one of my favorite parts. It’s easy to tell that Hinata is a main dancer, while they are all amazing dancers, she hits different.
I saw someone say Cocona won a singing contest as a kid. If so it was before she was 11 years old because that’s when she auditioned for the XG Project.
Anybody that watched XG Documentary already knew Cocona & Maya could sing even though they are both Main Rappers. Check out "Spend A Day With XG In Japan." Check out the shoes in that video. All 7 are wearing either Nike Jordan's or Air Force 1's, except Jurin with the Vans and Harvey with the Converse. Between the 7 of them they are wearing close to $1,000 worth of shoes at minimum.
Nice reaction!! Thanks so much for your efforts in general and for XG. I am so happy about Cocona’s singing too. Maya’s parts have been getting lyrical as well (or melodious?). I know we’ve heard most of the Mini-album, so maybe only a few more surprises but wow it’s hard to imagine what is in store for the future. They did a live live stage for a Fashion event in Japan that was really cool. It was just Girl Gvng, TGIF and New Dance but the outfits were wild and the show was good. And so proud of them performing at home, especially after being put on Forbes 30 under 30 for Japan. At first it didn’t seem like the crowd was into it because there wasn’t much noise, but as they left the stage you could see people with light sticks and signs and there was eye contact and waving. That has to be a huge boost for them.
I’m pretty sure their sponsored by Nike. A lot of their dance practices if not all have the girls in some type of Nike apparel. If not sponsored they got something going on with Nike. It happens too much to be a coincidence.
