I have a question, as I just came to a house with furnace with forced air. I have one huge central filter 5 inch wide located near the heater in my basement. In the house, there are 3 places, from where air is taken. All of them located on "floor-wall corner", which for me means, that every debris being nearby are vacuumed inside and end up inside the main filter in the end. Does it worth to install some preliminary large-particles filter at places, where air is taken? Like I saw some 1 centimeter wide trimmable "sponge-like" filter for I don't know for what, but as for me, it fits really well for the need. No air restriction, and at the same time, something will be accumulated on it, helping the main filter not to be clogged that fast.
Hi new to KS this winter season - what temp is best thermostat setting to not freeze pipes having a crawl space, tiny home 865sqft. We leave for a month at a time & will year round. KS energy rates are extremely high compared to AZ... hard to even find an energy "efficiency company" to do door seal pressurization test & make home better "less leaky". No benefit $$$ to energy companies if we use less resources. Thanks for an informative &good channel
