I just returned from Tibet . Very interesting and transformative experience. Bon was at the root of my questions .
Great video , but that constant noise in background made it very hard to listen to .

Bonpos believe that the founder of their religion descended on the top of kailash parvat from a distant galaxy many light years away.even before Buddha, this religion formed they follow their own rituals.
I have read in a book that there are some hidden caves in Himalayas where a LAMA still living and taking care of those religious scriptures and 2 alien dead bodies who descended here in earth in a spacecraft. There are still some defective machine parts of that alien spacecraft left over there in those caves.

In Yakthung pan we say ᤐᤥᤱ (Pöng) & ᤒᤥᤱ (Böng); The meaning is root or origin.
    For example:
    ᤛᤡᤱ॥ (Sing) = Wood.
    ᤛᤡᤱᤒᤢᤱ॥ (Sing:büng) = Tree.
[As wood comes from a tree, thus the origin of wood is a tree]

Tonpa Shenrab Mivo or Zarathustra came way later the foundation of this religion; Bon as a religion is as old as Sino-Tibetan civilization itself.

Bon predates Buddhism and Buddhism predates Zoroastrianism. i have seen zero research that suggests Bon is related to Zoroastrianism in any way.

I am from one of the ancient Tibetan tribes that still follow the Bon religion; Without any Buddhist influence, believe me, it is very historical & accurate. But many tribes other than us, have adopted Buddhism; Yet, not us, not yet.
