Snotlout, to me, is not what you call a runt. He is a strong man. He is smart. Sure he's done many things that people don't exactly agree with or have gotten him into trouble, but he will always be an awesome Viking.

So we forgetting that hiccup is smart asf compared to literally everyone except viggo maybe. Gets in dumb situations yes can build a contraption that rips toothless out of the sky at full speed. Not saying he’s in the alpha class unless he’s paired with toothless but i call it the batman method give him prep time and he can defeat most dragons except things like the bewilder beast and red death.
Plus he's a blacksmith and engineer. I feel like we keep forgetting Hiccup isn't just a dragon rider, he's responsible for a lot of the contraptions that give him, the dragon riders, and the other Berkians an edge in combat.

I agree hiccup should definitely be a little higher along with Astrid. Hiccup has the edge on the brain power but Astrid would definitely win a fight.... especially with an axe
and can knock out snotlout only using his non dominant right hand when he just woke up
I agree: Snotlout in the movies is absolutely useless. But Snotlout in RTTE is actually pretty interesting and proves himself more than once. Same goes for Ruff and Tuff. The series had more time to expand upon their characters as well as give them the spotlight in order to show their strong points (theyre still probably lower than the others though)
Yeah I feel bad for skullcrusher because in RTTE it stopped a tidal wave by using raw power to push over a sea stack
Yeah, all of hiccup’s friends (except for Astrid) are all reduced to obsolete, annoying side characters in the movies who are completely weaklings, but in the shows, they’re way stronger in combat and have more value to the story.

While I personally don't agree with some of the rankings, this video was very well put together. Also the red death CAN control dragons, it just might not be to a greater extremity as the bewilderbeast species. Also if you do end up making another tier list, some dragons will definitely change your mind of how powerful or smart they are on the tier list. It would also be cool if you considered looking into the HTTYD games dragons species as a tier list as they feature dragons that are unfortunately not seen in the movies or only get a cameo.
Oh also, I wouldnt mind seeing you do a tier list of the miraculouses in miraculous ladybug or doing all characters ranked in Steven Universe (and future)

I agree with that since in the first move where he meets toothless it shows that the red death had been controlling smaller dragons to bring them food and when ever they didn’t bring any or enough the red death would happily eat the dragon like a small snack
I'll never forgive The Hidden World for its portrayal of Hiccup's friends. They were all awesome in RTTE.
Mainly Tuff, Ruff got on my nerves and I didn’t really want to like Snotlout lol, but I mostly agree

Remember Drago only has one arm and he managed to hold his own against Stoick. Imagine how good of a fighter he would be with both arms
Drago was smacked in the face with Stoick's ace and through bullshit lived.

In Race to the Edge the Rumblehorn that Stoick rides (SkullCrusher) knocked over an entire sea stack that was atleast 20 times his size and carries a man as giant as Stoick... safe to say their battering ram like build isn't just for show...
To be honest, toothless' power is extremely inconsistent. We see him beating a red death at a young age but then losing to a singetail in a 1 on 1 and having to use an altitude maneouver to get away. Also, can i mention that the deathgrippers CAUGHT UP TO TOOTHLESS SOMEHOW?
Deathgrippers are designed to be killers if I was hunting a speedy boi then my dragons would be SPEEEEDDDD
Toothless was 1. distracted, and 2. tired from the poison dart. He also holds back as evident by the speed stinger arena episode. He didn't go for the kill but when he tried it was over in 5 sec. He tries agianst the red death, tries agianst The bewilderbeast. And as try I mean go for the strongest blast and speed possible. He holds back agianst most dragons because they are being controlled and he understands that and wants to help. Just like hiccup

I love how every dragon in the "Alpha" tier looks all menacing and stuff and then you have Toothless trying to smile with his teeth retracted and puppy dog eyes.
I enjoy these a lot! They are very entertaining videos especially bc you are pretty thorough with them.

I think Hiccup is much higher, I mean he did take down Toothless which you place in Alpha. Given enough time to think, Hiccup could take down most of the things on this list.
If given enough prep time, sure, but my list is based more off who would win in a fair fight, with them only having their normal gear.

i know a tier list with the shows would be a lot of work but maybe just a ranking of like the top 10 dragons or so from the shows and movie
The shows are packed with a lot more feats for all the characters so the tier list could change due to that. But it is 8 seasons so I think this is fair especially for most people who only saw the movies.
Now we need a tier list about shows and movies.

Personally, I see Stoick as capable of beating Valka's dragon with pure brute force, he had a hard time fighting Drago, but we didn't see the end of the fight and I see Stoick having a good advantage.
Rumble Horns shouldn't be in low dragons, he's like a really big ox, with strong scales and very bulky (also he got a horn that can use in combat) If he fight another dragons he have a big advantage, because of his durability.
Deadly Natter is stronger in a fight due to its Spines, agility and quick thinking but a Gronkle is much more tougher. If you caught a Natter off guard you could kill it, if you caught a Gronkle off guard you would greatly injure it but it could still kill you.

Now in terms of raw power we can agree the bewilderbeast is a lot more powerfull but with the speed of tothless he can beat him
Fun fact:you can actually see draco bewilderbeast in the hidden world scene when all the dragon scream at toothless wedding (maybe)

I know this is the movie ver, but if you do the series versions, the screaming death should be high. The only dragon toothless could not control and barely defeated. (In defenders of berk I believe they chased it away, then reunited it with its mother, and than in RTTE they used its scales to withstand dragon root arrows and it appeared in the final of RTTE. You could say it never got defeated?)

All of those are definitely possibilities. I was going to make a Harry Potter one when the final Fantastic Beasts movie comes out. I might make a John Wick one when the next movie comes out. Game of Thrones and Hunger games will come when I have the time and if there is enough demand for them.

on some of them I dont agree on, but I would still love to see a battle against the red death and the bewilderbeast, it would be an amazing battle. And for years I didnt notice the draco's bewilderbeast in the 3rd film

I have a feeling Shackjaws might be one of the dragons that hunters avoid. I mean electricity seems to be effective againt dragon proof metal, you cant just use the water trick on him like skrills, since they are tidal class dragons that use bio electricity. And they are one of, if not THE, fastest Tidal class dragons, both in the air, and the water.

Do you mean the background dragons? They didn't do anything so there is really no way to place them. I'm sure most of them have feats in the TV shows, and they would be added if I ever make a video including them, but like I said in the video, I'll only do that if this video gets a million views because it would take a lot of time and effort to make it.

Tier above Alpha: Unstoppables, Dragons that require either powerful environment effects, large groups of dragons, dragons that evolved to hunt them, or a poison or dragon root wound to take down
Bottom of the tier is going to be the shell fire, who is able to fire mighty artillery like charges, easily capable of devastating islands like dragon's edge.
Right above the Shellfire is the Submaripper, a incredibly powerful dragon able to overpower a shell fire, and create massive whirlpools capable of drawing most anything into its mouth
Right above the Submaripper is the Dramillion. The dramillion is powerful, and can copy any dragon's shots. Titan wing dramillions can also camouflage like changewings
One step above Dramillions are Singetails, Dragons even toothless had trouble dealing with. They are able to devastate most any non-dragon proof structure, and have only 1 natural predator
Right above Singetails is Dagur's Skrill, who i will refer to as Skrill. Skrill is a strike class dragon with the ability to channel lightning and redirect it. While in a electric storm, it has a infinite amount of shots. Water is able to nullify its abilities. Skrill was able to take down 4 dragon riders. Skrill was also able to send a roughly 2600 pound deadly nadder flying with a flick of its head. This dragon was able to keep up with toothless, and forced Hiccup to lure it to Dagur to take it down. Skrill was able to break out of a dragon proof cage, showing its sheer power. Skrill's lightning blast can only be met with a plasma blast from toothless. Toothless' plasma blasts have shown to not be able to phase it for very long, even on a direct hit. Skrill can also ride lightning, allowing it to near instantly move out of the way of incoming attacks. Skrills also are able to nullify singetail blasts
At the top of this tier is the Screaming Death, a unstoppable, island eating beast that has completely impenetrable scales. A Screaming Death's scales are completely indestructible. The screaming death is able to fire fire blasts at full auto, and appears to have virtually no shot limit. The screaming death never stops growing, and was able to keep up with toothless. It took boulders on its wings, or a entire herd of gronkles, to get this beast to leave. It is able to fire tail spines like a nadder, and has amazing armor.
Chicken should have been the alpha at the top 🥶
The rumble horn Is mid dragon at least, its not low dragon, its ability to ram alone brings it above low dragon, it was able to ram into a giant stone natural pillar and knock it over easily, that pillar has got to be around 70 to 100 tons, and it's durable, and for its size it's pretty fast.
If one night fury did that then well imagine a whole group of them if they do at least live near each other when they were alive
Toothless, Skrill, screaming Death and ofc the Bewildered beast are top tier dragons in my opinions.
Below them are Triple strikes and Death song is my favourite ones.
