I love when you visit museums and restaurants. That grass flowing with the wind was magical. It looks so alive, soft and velvety. Stay safe and gas up, my friend. You and Ily are a treasure.
Thank you so much Robert for your video of South Dakota, made me very emotional seeing how I was born and raised in South Dakota. When I was a little girl we lived in Yankton South Dakota and I fished in the Missouri River. Your video brought back a lot of sweet memories. God bless you on your travels and thank you once again.
Loved the SD video. I grew up on the prairies and it was always winy lol. I always enjoyed the grasses blowing in the wind. The Corn Palace is definitely unique. Lewis & Clark had a great adventure. Loved the Dignity Landmark. Looking forward to Bismark next week. Glad Pelicamp was OK for Nicole. Our East Coast beaches got beat up pretty bad.
Corn palace was very cool. Such a beautiful country we live in. Being that low on gas would have made me crazy anxious. Glad you had your sidekick to help you out of the jam you got yourself into. ❤
It’s Sunday morning! Another excellent video!! I have Never been to the Corn Palace (or Wall Drugs) on all those many trips we took as a kid. ( in a Dodge Dart no air conditioning) Your videos of the corn and grass swaying, animals, and the geology are beautiful. ❤
The corn palace wasn’t how I pictured it. Lol, but fun to see. What a beautiful part of our country. So glad you guys had perfect weather! Thanks for another great episode.
Thank you again for your wonderful videos, Robert. This brings some special memories back from our road trip in 2015 which took us from Chicago through to Mount Rushmore. We passed through the Dakotas, our first crossing over the Missouri River in Chamberlain still is very impressive in our mind. And we also visited the Corn Palace, Pierre and Fort Pierre and Bismack with Fort Mandan. So thank you again for the continuing provision with your videos in outstanding and informative manner. We love them!!! Greetings from Germany Astrid and Matthias
Oh! The memories. Mrs. DaubSquad didn’t want to stop at the Corn Palace. We were trying to get to Rapid City. We only looked at the outside. And the huge statue. Amazing places!!
I'm always so happy to see you travel to places before us, then I am able to add stops appropriately to our trips. We plan on going back through both the Dakotas on next year's trip, so I added a few stops. As always, thanks for another great episode Robert 👍
Beautiful. Such stunning views of the prairie, and the Missouri. And PIERRE! OMG just gorgeous. One of the things that always wanted to do is travel the United States but now I am unable to do so. Thank you so much for this tour I love it!
Another Sunday morning--it's time to hit the road with Traveling Robert! I'm really enjoying these longer episodes. My one disappointment when I visited Mitchell and the Corn Palace years ago was I couldn't find a single eatery that had corn bread or even corn muffins! Interesting that you talk about the possibility of taking part of the journey by boat--I recommend the book "River-Horse" by the author of Blue Highways. The adventurous route on the BIA road was pretty cool--love seeing the miles and miles of green prairie. Until next week, happy trails!
Hi Robert. I'm really enjoying the Lewis and Clark series. I visited the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville today, and I learned that Churchill Downs was founded by William Clark's grandson, named Meriwether Lewis Clark, Junior, in the 1870s.
Hail! South Dakota... (State Song) 🙌 Hail! South Dakota, The state we love the best, Land of our fathers, Builders of the west; Home of the Badlands, And Rushmore's ageless shrine, Black Hills and prairies, Farmland and Sunshine Hills, farms and prairies, Blessed with bright Sunshine. 😘
Another great video Robert! I got to hear my favorite song of yours, Ocean Breeze. I have to say the way the wind was blowing the prairie grass was awesome looking! Your skills in those tight spots is pretty impressive 🙂.
Love your videos Robert. Funny that you mentioned drinking games. We always take a drink when you say "commanding view". Usually it is water or coffee at the time though.
Many interesting places.....Following in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark...... I like the video....... Congrats...... I see you on the road..... Love MOM...>>>
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎷🎷🎸🎸🍔🍔🍟🍟🍰🍰🍦🍦🎸🎸...HEY...Where are the PELICANS😊. Robert, this was such a great video following the Lewis & Clark Trail...especially as your were following the Missouri River. I can't wait to see what's next in North Dakota...hmmmm Maybe a stop at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Robert, this was such an amazing video. OUTSTANDING VIDEO👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
On BIA8, Patch Skin Buttes, where there was no turnaround, with the big round marker, what are the coordinates please? Can't find it on the map. Thanks
@@TravelingRobert Hmmm, doesn't look like it. No road up, no outhouse, or marker as shown in the video. Perhaps you went through a portal to another dimension 😂
Thank you traveling Robert for using good judgment with your drone practices I think you did a wonderful job by thinking that you were too close to the rodeo to be a safe drone thing so you would not scare the animals thank you very much traveling Robert your friend John Chalker Waterbury Connecticut and if you're ever in the state of Connecticut you are welcome to come and visit and I would love to invite you for dinner on my Blackstone we can sit and enjoy and I would love to take you up to holy Land and show you holy Land in all about it with Glory as it's lit up at night peace be with you my brother CC 🙏🙏👼👼🪔🪔🇺🇲🇺🇲

Looks like we won't get to go to the Keys this year so a short video about the Keys would be nice. A little afternoon swim at Bahia Honda followed by dinner at Sloppy Joe and a sunset in Mallory Square would hit the spot 🙂
Having a theme for you travel is a stroke of genius.
Great, wonderful and good. So enjoyable and beautiful. Thank you Robert and Illy (wife). Stay safe and well. We appreciate you.

I sure like the room I have in my travel trailer, but there’s definitely a plus to something shorter and more maneuverable!
Going west yes absolutely the Road Nomad said it right . If you want to see beautiful landscapes and scenery you must go west never south .
Excellent video Robert 👏
Great video, awesome landscape and cities
Reading the Journals right now(Abridged) and this is where I left off. The tetons. Cool to have the real life visuals
Next time you are in Ft Pierre, stop at the Verendrye Monument. Beautiful view!
Next time, try it in the wintertime 😆
Love The Lewis And Clark Video's
Your travel keeps me traveling. I can not longer do cross country so we do smaller trips with the hub being Washington DC.
Nice- very jealous of your trip!
Blessings 🙏🏽
Wow! You visited more interesting places .How do you find them? Awesome!⛄❄😆👻😀😄😄😄😎
Where Winter 2022 in Minn , Wisc , Mich to New York ? 🌍
Believe it or not Wall Drug advertisements start even before Mitchell. In fact they even start in Minnesota.

Minute 49:40 don’t you love people who are so considering of others ( the red truck ) 🤦🏽♂️
I'm just shocked how empty and deserted these states are. Why would anyone want to live there?
Exactly for that reason.
you are losing your mojo Robert. You need to get back to the keys.
The Keys are boring.
@@mreppen1 not if you have a soul.
