Thank you for these videos! 💕 Been seeing a lot of them on tiktok and was a lil intimidated to give it a shot as I've never crocheted a blanket, only bags and wearables but my daughter saw some pink yarn I've got in my stash and asked for a blanket! Best thing for anyone who gets confused on the written pattern, cross reference with these videos and everything makes sense! 💕 Thank you again 🥰 will be making another for my soon to be here lil one after this one 💕
Also I just got to the end of the video and you mentioned "reverse single crochet" 👀 I've now gotta look that up bc I've never heard of that stitch and I'm incredibly intrigued!
your instructions are so clear and so helpful! Thank you so much for making a video tutorial for this!! I'm on my second round of completing rows 2-7 and I'm so happy with how it's coming along
something in mine got seriously messed up after the video ended, i was ending the row with like 4 spaces left instead of 2 😭 i went back and genuinely can’t find the mistake
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I’ve started mine today and have gotten pretty far, the videos have made it so easy to understand what to do and how the stitches are. Thank you so much 🫶🏻
What is the stitch count on the last single crochet round, and stitch count on the row repeated. I have messed up somewhere and I can’t figure out where
something’s really off in my star, you said at around 37:49 that there should be 10 going down and 10 going up making there be 20, i have 24 and i’m not sure what it did wrong, do you think i can keep going without it being a big problem
I swear i’ve counted every stitch properly, but in round 6, my peaks and valleys are all one or 2 off, i’ve had to redo it twice now. i’ve watched over and over again and in slow motion to make sure i’m starting in the correct stitch but cannot figure it out. maybe sleep will help.
Hi good night When i finished round 7 and start back with round 2 again. Is it 4 clusters skip 2 4 clusters, skip2 4 clusters skip 2 4 clusters , 3dc chain 3 3dc then 3dc skip 2 3dc skip 2 3dc and the 4 clusters, 4 times???
I’m new at crocheting but this videos has actually helped me out a lot and is super easy to understand. I’m five days in I’ve only repeated 2-7 once 😢😅😂
I thought I was doing well right up until the beginning of the first repeat. I can’t seem to get my cluster to land in the middle of the valley I’ve recounted my row of single crochets (redid the whole row too) and it’s still off. It looks like that’s a really common issue. I referred to the online pattern and am still not sure why it’s uneven. I tried going on Facebook but haven’t gotten accepted to any of the groups. Hope someone here can help I don’t want to over work my yarn by unraveling a 3rd time :(
@@alexruiz408 I am literally scrolling through comments trying to find the answer to this 😂 I’m starting my first repeat and have 210 stitches but my dc3tog is falling one stitch to the left
Honestly I had the same issue and knew that without an expert in front of me there wasn’t a way to get there without fudging it a little. I just kind of made it work sometimes only skipping one stitch and now it’s all lined up again without a lot of noticeable wonkiness.
Hi! I have a question, does this rounds have to be repeated through our other dsys, like once we finish do we have to do it again until we have our desired length?
I’m loving these tutorials, it’s really helpful watching you make every stitch with me… but for the life of me I don’t understand out I’m getting 24 stitches for step 7 when I’m supposed to be getting 26, do you have any clue to what i have done wrong? My last round is counted to be the same as yours
thank you so much for this tutorial!!!! its very well written and you teach it so well!!! im finishinf my first day and i made it to the first repeat rounds. hopefully i can make my 6v day deadline. thank you again! ill post pictures when im done.
For the 7th round, I am on my second repeat and my stitch count is off somehow. My 6th round has the correct amount of stitches. How many should I expect for each valley? Does this increase by 6 each round as well? Thank you lots.
Yes it does up by 6 on each side and if you’re counting from peak to peak. Check the join at the round and check that you actually did 5 in the dc round… if all else fails post a photo in my group and we will try to find it for you :)
i've been good so far but for some reason i'm not landing in the middle stitch for the 3 dcs skip 2 pattern, at 4:12 . i don't know why, i even redid my single crochet row and made sure every peak has 4 sc. i'm trying to count the number of stitches she has before starting round 2 with the 2dctogether, and it looks the same as mine...? but i'm not ending up in the middle stitch, i'm ending up in the one after it?! i'm one stitch ahead like i don't land at the 3rd stitch in the peak i land on 4th... i think something with my start is messing up but i'm going insane i think i fixed it by re-assessing where to stitch into to make the 2dctog, and i could have been disregarding the next stitch as a slip and accidentally skipping 3 at the beginning, i dunno that was weird i hope i haven't added any unnecessary stitches we'll see
@@jolarini hi! I’m just seeing this. That’s a really common error so that’s probably it. The other suggestion I wanted to make was make sure you understand which stitch is the middle one. You can use stitch markers as you make those stitches and mark the center one. The top of the stitch is above and to the right of the post of the stitch. We can look at your work in my Facebook group as well and help you out if you want to join there. I hope that helps :)

Thank you for these videos! 💕 Been seeing a lot of them on tiktok and was a lil intimidated to give it a shot as I've never crocheted a blanket, only bags and wearables but my daughter saw some pink yarn I've got in my stash and asked for a blanket! This has been the FASTEST working up I've had on a project in a long while (the first was two raglan sweaters I made for her and myself) this has been one of the easiest patterns and tutorials to follow!
Best thing for anyone who gets confused on the written pattern, cross reference with these videos and everything makes sense! 💕
Thank you again 🥰 will be making another for my soon to be here lil one after this one 💕
Also I just got to the end of the video and you mentioned "reverse single crochet" 👀 I've now gotta look that up bc I've never heard of that stitch and I'm incredibly intrigued!

Surely you’ve noticed then the number of times I’ve commented that I would only be guessing without seeing it.
Honestly I had the same issue and knew that without an expert in front of me there wasn’t a way to get there without fudging it a little. I just kind of made it work sometimes only skipping one stitch and now it’s all lined up again without a lot of noticeable wonkiness.

@@pam3744 hey how do you make the blanket bigger after round 7? I tried redoing round 2-7 but my row came out very "curly" if you know what I mean
i've been good so far but for some reason i'm not landing in the middle stitch for the 3 dcs skip 2 pattern, at 4:12 . i don't know why, i even redid my single crochet row and made sure every peak has 4 sc. i'm trying to count the number of stitches she has before starting round 2 with the 2dctogether, and it looks the same as mine...? but i'm not ending up in the middle stitch, i'm ending up in the one after it?! i'm one stitch ahead like i don't land at the 3rd stitch in the peak i land on 4th... i think something with my start is messing up but i'm going insane
i think i fixed it by re-assessing where to stitch into to make the 2dctog, and i could have been disregarding the next stitch as a slip and accidentally skipping 3 at the beginning, i dunno that was weird i hope i haven't added any unnecessary stitches we'll see
@@jolarini hi! I’m just seeing this. That’s a really common error so that’s probably it. The other suggestion I wanted to make was make sure you understand which stitch is the middle one. You can use stitch markers as you make those stitches and mark the center one. The top of the stitch is above and to the right of the post of the stitch.
