I love that they go through all of the effort of putting the displacer beasts into the bag when in didn't occur to them that they could just return to the room after they turned back.

Didn’t even know a displacer beast Cloak was a thing but I admired the beast and it’s abilities and method of hint abs decided if I had a character they’d be wild and would *have* to have a cloak of some kinda. Nice to see it’s accounted for. Sounds badass

The explosion scene have me such a fever dream mind fuck that I thought I was watching an episode of adventure time which is oddly just the best version of dnd.

Past your max health? Double your max health. [Or one of those but with your available hit points, nah] either over you max health or double you max for a true negative. Because you essentially send someone to 0, if you knock them out for equal their life negatively it’s like taking it away. So it’s gotta be that. 0 is just a KO. Past that is just pseudo critical
I see the changing as jusr a result of ptsd. Brainwashing or abuse of sorts, a reflex to conditioning even though directly contradicts what she needs and is trying to do for herself in that moment. But.. that folly. Maybe something external is effecting her. She had agency and choice and should be allowed to choose for herself but it’s hard when you look in the mirror and every part of yourself is a reminder of your god or the energy they rule over.
But that does not mean that you are immediately their pawn to use. They can favor you but that piece of the sun that she holds is completely their own in a way.
Also valid question but it’s also her businsss to talk. Such a strong source of trauma shouldnt sb forced out of someone. They’ve already gone thsough something they shouldn’t have had to in the first place. Sold away by their parents, stripped of their individuality, made into a pawn, forced to carry out a will that is not their own, branded for shame. Like damn S😭
The way Monty moves with the mental is frikken great! I've DM'd leads than a handful and yet I've always wanted to story on this level! Itsw nothing less that wonderful, and though I'm only a fraction of the way through this sh!t I can't wait to get to the end. Even though the 3hr. episodes are getting in the way of my daily news RUclipss. Yeezusz!

Sooooo.....I got into D&D-over-RUclips because of Ready to Roll, which is cinematic as F$%K, and yet I'm gravitating more in this direction. Honestly I just want them each to do their thing because each is a separate individual snowflake.
