It's kinda cool how he interpets our decisions this time around knowing the full extent of the audience's conversations online though! Voting all the T1 guilty prisoners innocent in T2 being one of them especially.
I mean, we did make both Shidou and Amane innocent, so... (and for the record, before the third trial starts, I voted Amane as guilty, since she was very open about wanting to hurt Shidou)
don’t worry too much about the mahiru comment y’all, she’s innocent this round and kotoko is guilty this round, i think this is as safe as it could have gotten for her…. i hope also i can’t believe i only noticed this now that they were all back to back, but it’s so cool how all the innocent in t1 have their backs turned while all the guilty are facing the audience… rahhh
Consider - has she recovered enough to not be reliant on Shidou? Shidou is being targeted. If we lose him, will Mahiru survive without his help? That's something that might "happen around her" even without anything happening to her.
@@puregoldengrace5810my only concern is iirc it was mentioned that she needs consistent medical attention now or else she won't make it. shidou got voted innocent but amane did as well, so if she does anything to incapacitate shidou then mahiru is basically dead

HHGH milgram never fails to give me a massive heart attack every time jackalope brings up what consequences our judgement might have in these videos 💀 also DAMN the writers do not play about making sure our decisions have some of the worst outcomes possible 😭
kind of out of topic but forgiven and unforgiven being translated officially as innocent and guilty is probably the biggest localization fumble I've seen in my life
real. i think a good number of english speakers who actually vote understand the concept now, but the first trial was basically trash because no one knew wtf was going on or what they were doing. there was really no reason futa shouldve (or wouldve) been voted guilty, for example. not to mention the voting mishaps in the second trial... this project was really creative and interesting but it has not been going so well. even the writers have expressed confusion and surprise at how the trials have turned out lol
@kanashiicup Yes, because if you pay attention in the trials, Futa is not the only one attacking that girl. We can assume he was one of maybe hundreds of people harassing her. I doubt it was just his comment that made her do that, but rather all of those people going after her at once. Futa liked bringing "justice" upon people online because it made him feel better about himself, but it was never his intention for her to commit suicide. It could happen to anyone, really. Someone does something you believe is bad, so you leave a comment criticizing it without thinking. Your comment may not have said anything very harsh and the thing they did may not have even been very big, but if they kill themselves, you still contributed. Does that make you a person not worthy of forgiveness?
imagine if the whole fandom united to get a 50/50 result, im mean i know it would be near impossible considering how many people are voting, but i think it would be a really interesting way for the story to progress... well i guess there is also the posibility that milgram just extend the voting time until a proper result is chosen wich would be understable even if pretty frustrating
Jackalope bringing up Haruka's deal and Shidou's duty is what I expected, but the sheer amount of foreshadowing he does is worrying. Wondering if Mahiru will survive, mentioning Amane's "fate", and that last statement about "something you can't take back" makes me worry if all nine of them are making it to the third round. And yet, I don't really disagree with the choices we made. Maybe that'll change at the start of the next round, but I'll keep my probably misaligned confidence until then.
It sure as hell doesn’t feel like it. We saw what happened after the first trial ended, I’m sure there’ll be negative consequences for these results as well.
@@Daw2050 No? I thought the primary reason he got voted guilty was so he wouldn’t try committing sudoku. The logic was that since guilty prisoners have more restraints, he wouldn’t be able to do anything drastic.

Jackalope essentially confirming Mikoto has multiple murders comes off as really strange to me. Personally I think double heavily points to him killing one person (with the whole mannequins inside/outside the train thing) and meme could make it at most he had 3. But jackalope is definitely known for overdramatising/lying about stuff like with Haruka and Muu’s relationship so that could be the case here. And like, cmon there’s no way he has more kills than Shidou. And interesting how jackalope bought of the number of kills for mikoto but not shidou in terms of their innocent verdicts. Edit: also thinking this could be likely as jackalope specifically used an derogatory term with Mikoto’s did unlike previous times where he referred to it normally. And especially with how es became very sympathetic and understanding towards John, more so than any of the other people in the prison and with John being exempt from the rules perhaps jackalope sees this as a threat. And deliberately portrayed them in a more negative light with this report and banking off of John’s suspicious stamens about killing a lot of random people
Mikoto is implied to have killed a lot of people and , while he mock us, Jackalope wouldn't lie directly to us. I also don't think describing Haruka and Muu relationship as slave-queen was an understatement either. I think that the reason he mentioned Mikoto's victims and not Shidou is because he wants to use the best argumentation to makes as doubt and Mikoto's kill count (the consequences he denies, the people he has hurt) is more relevant for his case than Shidou's.
@@iciarsoto8860 honestly I feel like looking at double it makes more sense if it was only one victim. And with Haruka and muu it’s more so they’re codependent and essentially enslaved to each other for support rather than muu is manipulating haruka. And I don’t know what you’re trying to say with Shidou as I feel like it should be more relevant with him especially with his higher inno verdict and how that was mostly because of his sad backstory and ability to save others rather than the murders themselves
@@LanieMae 1. I don't know what you thought was Shidou's crime but he seem to have commited his crime while acting as a profesional (he talked about dissconecting brain dead people and covincing the families to do so. He, after having a son in that situation, changed his perspective about his work.) Jackalope mock us for forgiving him for our interest (making things safer) so his kill count doesn't matter for his argument. 2. I don't know which part of Mikoto swinging his bat in a subway and striking multiple manequins makes you think he only killed one person. 3. They are both dependant, dependant to an unhealthy dinamic where "he does everything I say"(by Muu's own words in the second trial song teaser video) and where she is going to let him commit suicide for her sake while she denies any guilt(In the app conversation, she is even shown preventing people from discovering Haruka's plan). It sickens me how people overlook that Muu is taking advantage of an extremely unstable person because she has the necesity of stepping over other people (Just watch her second MV). She is dependant to being harmful to others and having people to obey her, and that doesn't put her in an even foot with Haruka nor makes her deserving of pity. (I feel really stongly about this topic, sorry If came across as rude).
@@LanieMae In my case I voted him inno because after hearing the cd drama and everything if his "crime" is convincing families to donate the organs of patients that were already in vegetative state or with low probability of ever waking up again I don't consider him "unforguvable/guilty" at all and the fact that he's helping everyone is just a really nice plus. I feel more or less the same way towards him than towards Yuno, I won't vote them guilty even if they think they should be.
@@iciarsoto8860 I mean Shidou very clearly killed like 20+ people and ruined the lives of a ton of families. He was not acting in his job, even if you don’t count the brain dead thing as murder it’s still very much illegal Long story but there’s a whole thing about the mannequins inside the train being fragments and inside the mindscape and not physical people and the one that was broken outside the train being the real murder I really don’t like how you’re treating muu here, she really isn’t as manipulative as she wants people to believe, she’s not abusing him she’s directly taking care of him but has a messed up idea of friendship
1:42 And now we know with 100% certainty that Yuno got in Milgram because she got an abortion. Someone could've have some doubts before, but now, with Jackalop saying stuff like "so it didn't raise to murder level crime for you.. i see, that's how it is in your era.." or something like that, and "don't tell me that her murder is smaller to you than the other" we understand that in past - her crime would be considered as murder, but now - it's socially decriminalised. So is Abortion.
I'm not sure but I think abortion is illegal in Japan, I don't think it's as hard to get one for medical reasons aas in some other countries like Poland or the US but still illegal. And Yuuno didn't have a proffessional abortion she chucked herself down some stairs
Jackalope's point about Kotoko's actions changing our judgements of Futa and Mahiru is pretty interesting. I hope that if any prisoners do die that we still get a song for them. Haruka and Shidou have such good songs it'd be a shame if we didn't get more...😭 And the talk of choosing this current era, I see you Jackalope!! I know you're up to some timey-wimey nonsense. Kotoko being in the most current project doesn't make sense otherwise if you consider the novels.
For the last part-why doesn’t Kotoko being in this “round” (I guess) of Milgram make sense? I haven’t read the novels so I wouldn’t know but I am very interested
@@everythingz888 The novels feature groups of prisoners being judged before our current set, but those prisoners reference Kotoko's crime in a past tense, so it's a little unusual for her to appear in the prison after they did.
My only thought for the person at the end is that they may be the (social) psychologist behind it all just like in the real Milgram experience… sooo excited to know more
What if we just don't vote? If this is any similar to the actual milgram experiment that means they're wondering how we'll go right? So what if we just all choose to not vote? But since some people will choose to vote anyway what if we try to keep the vote equal? Because we don't technically have to vote, we don't really have to do anything, we feel like we have to but we don't.
I'm excited to see the absolute warping of personalities that will be coming with T3 even if it does take a while as I am loving the narrative behind this already especially with some of the characters that seem to be already going crazy like amanae.
I don't know if Jackalope not mentioning Amane wanting to kill Shidou is a good sign or he wanting to catch us out of guard. It would be terrible for so many motives.
True!! though at 4:04 he did mention somsone not forgiving shidou and that person is most likely amane so it may be implied something will go down, hopefully it wont though i dont want either of them getting hurt 😭
@@iciarsoto8860 OH WAIT YEAH HE COULD BE TALKING ABOUT IT TOO, i love how it can be interupperted in multiple ways it leaves more suspesnce of whats gonna happen
@@rakuille I did the same, I believe that if she hurts Shidou it would worsen things for everyone including her. Do Amane fans don't realise that her killing someone again would only worsen her fanatisym and make quite likely that she goes for a third one?
The moment I saw this I was so excited! However, this has left me really worried. The fact that that our verdict has consequences is something that I was aware of and, while I'm sure that those consequences affects our judgement, this round the results fit with my own in regards to their crime (something subjective, in the first round I disagreed with a few). What really scares me is the insistence that Jackalope has about consequence and not being able to turn back. We both "allowed" Amane to potentially hurt Shidou and ignored Haruka's, as Jackalope says, deal about Mu's verdict. In both cases I feel like giving in the metagaming would oppose the moral aspect of the judgement (which it's surely intentional). The idea of people being dead for the 3 round scares me, and I fear this video isn't bluffing with the threat. But it's too late now. About the end, either it's meant as a 4th wall break, or this has to be being observed in universe like the real Milgram experiment. Probably both, given the series. I haven't read a thing about the novels, so I have no idea if it's hinted there. Either way, I'm ecstatic by Milgram continuing, but it's going to really break my heart.

SECOND TRIAL END NOTICE IS HERE WHOOOOO!!!
I can’t wait for trial 3 and the climax of this project!!!
kind of out of topic but forgiven and unforgiven being translated officially as innocent and guilty is probably the biggest localization fumble I've seen in my life
real. i think a good number of english speakers who actually vote understand the concept now, but the first trial was basically trash because no one knew wtf was going on or what they were doing. there was really no reason futa shouldve (or wouldve) been voted guilty, for example. not to mention the voting mishaps in the second trial... this project was really creative and interesting but it has not been going so well. even the writers have expressed confusion and surprise at how the trials have turned out lol

@@rosen_venus are u rlly saying that fuuta is forgiveable?? is this whats happening
@kanashiicup
fuuta is forgiveable hes just a chronic Reddit user
Maybe that'll change at the start of the next round, but I'll keep my probably misaligned confidence until then.
i cant wait to see the new designs for T3 (if there will be any)

@@LanieMae
He was not acting in his job, even if you don’t count the brain dead thing as murder it’s still very much illegal
Long story but there’s a whole thing about the mannequins inside the train being fragments and inside the mindscape and not physical people and the one that was broken outside the train being the real murder
I really don’t like how you’re treating muu here, she really isn’t as manipulative as she wants people to believe, she’s not abusing him she’s directly taking care of him but has a messed up idea of friendship

And now we know with 100% certainty that Yuno got in Milgram because she got an abortion. I hope that if any prisoners do die that we still get a song for them. Haruka and Shidou have such good songs it'd be a shame if we didn't get more...😭
And the talk of choosing this current era, I see you Jackalope!!
Did Kotoko's action really change our judgement or were they simply going to show remorse regardless of anyone that "punished" them ?
@@everythingz888 The novels feature groups of prisoners being judged before our current set, but those prisoners reference Kotoko's crime in a past tense, so it's a little unusual for her to appear in the prison after they did.
@@amai-w8f That's the fun part, we'll never know!
@@SugarFang Ohhh I see
I found out milgram was a thing today and I legit binge watched all of it for the last 2 hours. It was worth it. ❤❤
Fly high Haruka🕊️🕊️
NO STOP 😭😭😭
My only thought for the person at the end is that they may be the (social) psychologist behind it all just like in the real Milgram experience… sooo excited to know more
Mr. Milgram himself
if they at some point reference the lines from that old footage that would be horribly haunting
THE MILGRAM SECOND TRIAL END REPORT IS REAL
@@NO.1_muu_kusunoki_kinnie I thought Jackalope talked about Shidou himself, but I probably misunderstood it
@@iciarsoto8860 OH WAIT YEAH HE COULD BE TALKING ABOUT IT TOO, i love how it can be interupperted in multiple ways it leaves more suspesnce of whats gonna happen
Thats why i voted Amane Guilty everyday back then, like she's totally innocent in her crime but she's such a danger for the others 😭
