Farfa explained it pretty well, but his example was incorrect. If it's your turn and you set a card priority doesn't pass to your opponent instantly, you have priority to activate a fast effect as chain link one when you do an action that doesn't start a chain in your turn.

Half their stuff only matters in end phase after its destroyed and if you pop the whole back row right away they have to blow their whole set right then and there. The deck doesn't do anything with just a golden lord on field and nothing set. If you're losing to back row in best of one you only have yourself to blame

Haven't actually played Evenly in Master Duel, but I've crafted 2 ofs for most of my staples and 3 of them, for a reason. It's just tough to make space for main in the couple of decks my poor ass has crafted. I actually think the card is pretty good against me, with my Zoo-Tri meta-trash - usually it'll leave me with just a Revolt for my whole game-plan, unless I drew Solemn, at its worst it baits the Solemn, which is clutch, and if I drew my traps and quickplays you're always getting more value than Lightning Storm, Raigeki, or Harpies, cards I see main way too often giving how they do nothing ;)

It’s beyond annoying to play against this deck because I like to use non meta decks. Primarily dark magician but I destroyed one of these earlier I had chaos max out with skill drain and vanity he scooped
Highkey just today I played Eldlich into a Dark Magician deck and got absolutely stomped. I had Conquistador ready to out his Dark Magical Circle so he couldn't banish my Eldlich, and he just activated a second one from hand. Eternal Soul makes his DMs immune to Torrential, Gozen and Rivalry do absolutely nothing, Circle can just continuously free banish my Eldlich, and that deck has seemingly endless ways to just add anything that mentions DM to hand. Also got shut out by a Z-ARC deck today because of Time Pendulumgraph lmao.
It happened to me yesterday with my toon deck I got all magic toon cards but no monster so I just activated toon kingdom and use table of content to get a toon harpie lady I summoned her on defense and end turn he destroyed my toon kingdom and summoned golden lord eldlich destroyed my harpie and end turn i draw and got another toon kingdom i activated and used yoink to take his golden lord and use toon repetition needless to say he tried everything in his power to destroyed it i attack directly and won because one of his trap cost him life points so he ended up with 6300
I've considered that Then I remembered that Golden Lord can summon himself... plus there's also the spell cards if they're not playing Imperial Order (unless you're playing both for some reason, which I have seen... IDK why. They've even activated White Destiny while it was in play)

One of their best combos is to activate Conquistador and chain Scarlet Sanguine, all of which can be set up and performed with Traps. The cards that are used for this play also set up a follow up, that being Golden Land Forever alongside basically any other trap All of their trap cards search as a graveyard effect. Cursed Eldland is handy to have, but it is not necessary in the slightest Scarlet Sanguine serves the purpose of either of the other Eldlixir cards, especially since if you have Golden Lord in your hand, you can almost guarantee that you can summon him, so you only need to access the deck or the grave, and it's searchable by the Golden Land traps Eldlich do not need spells to play. In terms of ratios, they actually run more traps than Altergeists, since the only required monster is Golden Lord (you run hand traps too, of course, but you run those in Altergeist as well) There are variants that do run the spells, and those typically don't run Imperial Order There are also variants that run both. I can almost 100% guarantee that these people have tried to activate Black Awakening or White Destiny through their own Imperial Order and failed at least once

It's only effects are on the field. Skill Drain that, and you lose everything, so it doesn't even get the name that benefits you
This is one of the reasons why I don't like modern yugioh. Hand traps you have to main to fight against spam decks are mostly dead against modern trap heavy decks like Eldlich and Sky Striker.
Sky Striker is not as good as it used to be back in Master rule 4. Edlich is very trap card backrow dependent and heavily relies on 1 monster the golden lord, Edlich can be a jerk to your opponent or to you, the golden lord is a selfish over privileged and pampered tyrant that wants to be catered to by you to work out

Skill Drain hurts Mad Lord more than it benefits, and Eldcringe players always play three of them.

Eldlich do not need spells to play. In terms of ratios, they actually run more traps than Altergeists, since the only required monster is Golden Lord (you run hand traps too, of course, but you run those in Altergeist as well)
There are variants that do run the spells, and those typically don't run Imperial Order
There are also variants that run both. I can almost 100% guarantee that these people have tried to activate Black Awakening or White Destiny through their own Imperial Order and failed at least once

Golden Lord only has effects while in the hand or in the grave, on the field he's really only there for the name (having a big body doesn't hurt, 'though)
The Fusion, on the other hand, is a Fusion. It's only effects are on the field. Skill Drain that, and you lose everything, so it doesn't even get the name that benefits you

This is one of the reasons why I don't like modern yugioh. Hand traps you have to main to fight against spam decks are mostly dead against modern trap heavy decks like Eldlich and Sky Striker.
Sky Striker is not as good as it used to be back in Master rule 4. Edlich is very trap card backrow dependent and heavily relies on 1 monster the golden lord, Edlich can be a jerk to your opponent or to you, the golden lord is a selfish over privileged and pampered tyrant that wants to be catered to by you to work out
