Finally a video which clearly demonstrates the tongue position you know when u are a foreigner you can't really get the difference just by listening or using a poor or not tremendously clear tongue image after all there is a lot of different L's out there lol Also a tip for Arabic speakers the dark L or the L in the end of the word he was talking about *I guess* actually exists in Arabic too but only in the standard pronunciation of the word ( الله ) -except when it follows long or short /i/ when it is not emphatic: بسم الله according to wiki - While we usually if not always use normal L in every other word like ( ليمون،لسان،لقاح....ألخ )
Wow! I am an English teacher in Taiwan. A lot of people, including my students, have difficulty with this. I know how important this sound is in English so I am glad to have found such a helpful video on how to do pronounce the L and R. I would really like to know where I could also buy your mouth and tongue teaching tool. It makes explanations way easier!

Excellent video! I know it will help a lot of people out there. If I may, however: an L before a consonant is pronounced the same way as a final L, as in "alter" and "Sir Elton John." That last example uses both the L and R sounds. "Parallelogram" is an awesome practice word. I give this video 6 stars and an Oscar!

Speaking about prefect L & R pronunciation. What about saying or pronouncing these following words in British commont pronounciation?
