@@kball3336 Yes, I know why Amazon didn't have to pay taxes, legally too(It's the same for EVERY company). Amazon didn't have to pay taxes(until recently) because the company had not made a profit. I know what your thinking how did Amazon not turn a profit until 2019? Impossible? Well not exactly, first off, US law states you do not have to pay taxes on your company UNTIL the company has turned over a profit. The law is made this way because it would basically bankrupt every new company, if you invest all your money into a buisness and have to pay taxes on it, the company would never reach the point of profit(Profit: Earning that investment back + extra money) Okay so how did Amazon not "profit" until 2019? Well Amazon had invested so much money in the company that the total amount they had invested was far more than they were earning yearly. For example: Amazon invests 1 Billion$ into the company, but they only make 100 million a year, on year 1 they would be negative 900million even though they made 100mil that year, only on the 10th year of buisness Amazon would have made their initial investment back but they would have no profit at all, only on the 11th year they would have made 100 million in profit(assuming in our hypothetical example "Amazon" made exactly 100mil yearly). ONLY THEN on the 11th year(100mil profit) would Amazon have to pay taxes because that's the first year they profited. All the other years before that Amazon still hadn't made the money back they invested(1Billion) so they didn't have to pay taxes from year 1-9(starting after the 1 bill investment). These 8 minutes of interview is pure gold. Ask and you shall receive is so true. If you see someone better than you always approach and start a conversation. You never know where it will lead.
Kevin and Joe are both very inspiring and motivating. I constantly tell people they have to listen to JRE, not only because of the wide variety of guests, but more importantly for Joe's passion. He is always eager to learn more and willing to change positions when presented with compelling new information. His passion and Kevin's positivity is contagious. In this polarized society with so many hell bent on confirmation bias as a way of life, thanks for helping to remind us of what is truly important gentlemen.
Information seeking vs not being a 'try hard.' I love that Kevin is letting people really see that you *should* try hard. You *should* be willing to look like the person who doesn't know--because that's how we learn and advance. And Jo at the end: have room in your life, in your head, for what he's saying. I needed that reminder. Good messages all through this clip. ♥︎
Kevin Hart is a good man. I worked his show and he came out during the load out and thanked everyone while we were finishing up. I have worked that job for 18 years. He is one of the only ones that has ever done that. That being said, John Meloncamp, Bryan Adams, and another famous dude I can think of are all dicks. Dave Mathews is cool too. Ringo Star is cool. Tim Reynolds is cool. One of them dudes from ZZ Top is cool. Sarah McLoughlin is cool. Cheryl Crow is cool. Ice Cube is cool.
RUclips Pantheon I built one with 4x6s and put casters on the legs. It’s a badass desk, way better than IKEA tables and a little bit cheaper. It’s actually really fun and rewarding to build something yourself.
He's 100% right. Being told as a kid "Don't interrupt when the adults are talking" has made me hesitant to go up to introduce myself to people I admire even if they are alone. I don't want to seem like an annoying fanboy. But there's a right way to do it he outlined t. Take initiative, introduce yourself, say a quick piece and wait for the other person to respond. They may not want to talk and that's ok. Introducing yourself is hardly an overstep and can open doors
He's right... Everybody is "too cool" for the last twenty years. If it wasn't for all the fallout from suppressed butthurt you'd almost think most people are stoic.
I'd substitute "self righteous" that's what I find most repulsive. A lack of humility esp when you're not an authority o what you want people to think you are. Like the moron TRump who isn't an authority on anything.
I think it has more to do with not wanting to bother him. If I saw Lebron in the same room, I would be too scared to bother him because he prolly meets a 100 new people a day.
all these people are busy. joe's gotta get them in when he can, kevin might be off shooting a movie or a special by the time he's on spotify. and timeliness is important for these off-the-cuff conversations; if he "saves" the recording, it could touch topics that are very, very, very dated by then
I remember Kevin Hart in Soul Plane and so many didn't think he would go beyond that..but that movie was my first glimpse of Kevin and I loved his energy right then and wished he would make it..am so proud he did.
damn that is such a great exchange Kevin: talks about taking the opportunity to tell someone he is in the room with that is admires them, Joe: proceeds to do exactly that to Kevin after Kevin finished, talking about how valuable Kevin's motivational speaking is to people and himself
Don’t know how you got that, each video he says someone’s richer, funnier, or bigger than he is. Honestly just saying how his ego is constantly put in check
I wonder how Kevin might react if I walked up to him and said the same thing. "Hey, Mr. Hart. I admire you and would love to talk to you sometime. I feel like I could learn a lot from you." Security wouldn't even let me close.
It's frustrating not having any close friends that have "pick-me-up" motivations that I can relate with. I'd love to meet some people that have the charisma and stamina that Kevin and Joe talk about, that help stir up some of my own ideas and kick-start a more successful future.
Learn to golf and join a local country club. Doesn't need to be the most prestigious, just join one and go to their social party events and just meet people golf with them, don't be afraid to ask questions etc. IMO its the fastest way to start networking with people who have a success driven attitude.
IT sucks. Also if your family is more negativ and closed minded. You say something deep or different everyone role his eye. Better leave that circles :D
Joe‘s ability to explain things and make metaphors like „get a spark of of that ,blow that spark, make that amber flame up“ is insane!!!!! He should do some kind of commentary or maybe a podcast
It’s interesting he talks about this back room. I’ve talked about this for years. I never described it as a back room but a ladder. Once you climb up the next step it opens up a whole different view. Once you see the view you can always go back down but you want to keep climbing.
Absolutely, I feel the exact same. He speaks in such a way that makes you evaluate how hard you're grinding, if it's enough; and if it's not, you get this energy that pushes you to rise beyond your own limits. People like us need that!
And he's right, rich families like the Rockfellers and Rothschilds have paid specialized wealth medias to not talk about them in their papers and rankings. Most of billionaires that we know about got rich through their entreprises which is considered more noble than a (crooked?) banker, trader that generated wealth out of an unclear, skimpy, shady process (insider trading) that's why they don't want to drag the lights towards them, they wouldn't get the good opinions and feelings from the masses.

I'd be a terrible famous person like man I don't want to meet all these people
Ice Cube seems cool as fuck. I've seen him rap live before and it was awesome!
"Ice cube is cool" sure sounds like it 😅
Love our job, brother. Awesome to hear these stories
Awe man. The envy for meeting Sarah Mcloughlin.
I am that kid that will go up to Kevin Hart and say, "I admire you!"
BeerBiceps yeah keep admiring others you idiot
@@stringerb8618 the dude himself is pretty accomplished.
@@stringerb8618 why are you such an insecure loser, did somebody hurt you?

Ranveeeeeer bhai!!!!!!
It's not an Ikea table. It was actually a recycled door. Look it up.
🤥 😂
who would be bored enough to do that
@@youtubepantheon8973 somebody that couldn't afford an Ikea.
@@greysilverback3924 crazy to think that at one point in time, Jeff Bezos couldnt afford a desk from Ikea🤯😂
RUclips Pantheon I built one with 4x6s and put casters on the legs. It’s a badass desk, way better than IKEA tables and a little bit cheaper. It’s actually really fun and rewarding to build something yourself.
thats why I love Kevin, He is simple, straight forward, no BS and connects with people jus like that.
Kevin is one of those people who gets endorphins hearing himself speak
VERY ACCURATE
Yeah but it’s good shit
I think a lot of people are like that. And that's how we should try to be. We need to love ourselves.
I am too lol I spit some heat
Yeah but so is joe big time
I hope Kevin keeps that same energy when a young comedian comes knocking on his door.
From what I've heard, he does.
He’s known to help others get their feet in the door and thrive in the industry.
He does
He's right...people don't talk to eachother as much anymore ,I strive to talk to everyone say what's up, atleast
fr
Watch out how you say “what’s up” though, might not go as intended.
2 badass guys in a room just shooting the breeze. I admire both of them with their accomplishments, knowledge and drive. 💯💪👍🏻
Jeff bezos “cheap IKEA desk” is a door.. not even ikea, or proper desk.. just a door
Kevin is one of the most inspiring people. I never would've known this unless he was on the podcast.
I can't get "hi my name is jeff" from 22 Jump Street out of my head
Me either
My name Jeff
ma name a chef
@@aleksander6219 Have you seen Chef?
It's been going on a lot longer than 20 years...
I'd substitute "self righteous" that's what I find most repulsive. A lack of humility esp when you're not an authority o what you want people to think you are. Like the moron TRump who isn't an authority on anything.
@@omegapointil5741 LMAO! Why am I not surprised somebody was able to twist this around and make it about Trump.
CaliMeatWagon Gaming Trump is rich, which to Americans is better than being smart.
I think it has more to do with not wanting to bother him. If I saw Lebron in the same room, I would be too scared to bother him because he prolly meets a 100 new people a day.
The fact you could have saved this podcast until Spotify , shows how much confidence in your self well done sir
😂😂😂 yo he's not gonna stop putting out podcasts. Guests will always be there
??? Confidence??? Why tf would he withhold interviews? You think he thinks he’s going to run out of people to talk to??? Lol
all these people are busy. joe's gotta get them in when he can, kevin might be off shooting a movie or a special by the time he's on spotify. and timeliness is important for these off-the-cuff conversations; if he "saves" the recording, it could touch topics that are very, very, very dated by then
I love how Kevin is just being Human and not acting like a "Celebrity" outside That's his freedom and peace of mind.
He calls him and joe aliens.
I love how he thinks he’s tony fucking robins
I remember Kevin Hart in Soul Plane and so many didn't think he would go beyond that..but that movie was my first glimpse of Kevin and I loved his energy right then and wished he would make it..am so proud he did.
damn that is such a great exchange
Kevin: talks about taking the opportunity to tell someone he is in the room with that is admires them,
Joe: proceeds to do exactly that to Kevin after Kevin finished, talking about how valuable Kevin's motivational speaking is to people and himself
Exactly our thoughts!
Kevin Hart is a motivational speaker at heart 😭❤️🙏🏿
This entire interview is like what Patrice O’Neal said “I lived in L.A. for a few weeks and I already started thinking I was important”.
Your so right, Patrice is in my opinion the greatest comedians of all time. His power of observation is second to none.
Is Patrick still doing comedy?
@@AwesomeBlackDude I'm sure he is...
Don’t know how you got that, each video he says someone’s richer, funnier, or bigger than he is. Honestly just saying how his ego is constantly put in check
@@AwesomeBlackDude every fan wishes he was. Google him up bro and have tissue with you while you do that.
That is why Kevin Hart is successful. He is not afraid to step out of a comfort zone to discover a different world. Need to follow his lead.
I wonder how Kevin might react if I walked up to him and said the same thing. "Hey, Mr. Hart. I admire you and would love to talk to you sometime. I feel like I could learn a lot from you."
Security wouldn't even let me close.
"I admire you," is a great introduction. It really works.
Because you aren’t somebody? Kevin was already in an exclusive back room after party of the biggest sporting event in the world.
Better than just taking a fkin selfie for points
William Smith Exactly
It's frustrating not having any close friends that have "pick-me-up" motivations that I can relate with. I'd love to meet some people that have the charisma and stamina that Kevin and Joe talk about, that help stir up some of my own ideas and kick-start a more successful future.
Feel that
Easy to find you just gotta use the power of the internet in the self help/self starter spheres
Learn to golf and join a local country club. Doesn't need to be the most prestigious, just join one and go to their social party events and just meet people golf with them, don't be afraid to ask questions etc. IMO its the fastest way to start networking with people who have a success driven attitude.
Maybe find some good groups on Telegram
IT sucks. Also if your family is more negativ and closed minded. You say something deep or different everyone role his eye. Better leave that circles :D
I love these interviews, most guests come on here and have deep genuine conversations. Ive bonestly never seen Kevin in this manner.
He’s not my favorite comedian but I love his real personality. good for you saying something Jeff. You’re just as valuable.
Can’t say it enough, talk to people you’d be so amazed at the opportunities and things you learn
The way Kevin talks about going up to Jeff should be equal as one of us running up to Kevin for “information”
Kevin Hart seems like the real deal. Good, honest, humble, intelligent, hard working, and wise dude. A lot like Chappelle actually. Respect.
Joe‘s ability to explain things and make metaphors like „get a spark of of that ,blow that spark, make that amber flame up“ is insane!!!!! He should do some kind of commentary or maybe a podcast
Kevin was probably just happy that he could finally see eye to eye with someone.
Is Bezos short? Lmaoooo
It’s interesting he talks about this back room. I’ve talked about this for years. I never described it as a back room but a ladder. Once you climb up the next step it opens up a whole different view. Once you see the view you can always go back down but you want to keep climbing.
Exactly
That’s probably why the wealth want to get even wealthier without mowing exactly why.
Your ladder analogy sounds like something from "the platform" movie.
It’s forsure a cult thing
Great Anwaegbu I’ve never seen that movie but I’m gonna check it out thank you for the response
He was standing on 1 leg, his body was facing one way, but his head, his head was like this.

Very honest Kevin Iam from Fiji when I moved here people told me not to ask questions and Iam still asking questions , I am hungry for information
"Here's the thing Jeff" - Kevin Hart.
We need to stop listening to our own egos and start listening to people who want what's best for humanity.
If only people would work together as a community and just have peace with one another. Just live life and experience the best you can.

Absolutely, I feel the exact same. He speaks in such a way that makes you evaluate how hard you're grinding, if it's enough; and if it's not, you get this energy that pushes you to rise beyond your own limits. People like us need that!

*Joe: “Richest man, publicly.”*
For real. *The Elite* don't want to be famous
