MiniToon is a role-model for developers on the platform. He's learned and apologized for past mistakes, doesn't add hundreds of microtransactions into his games, consistently interacts with his community (rarely does a week go by where he doesn't reply to anyone on twitter), and does everything out of passion. I've seen some people argue that Piggy is a cash grab and all of that junk, but if they actually bothered to learn about the man then they would take back the things they've said tenfold. Piggy's quality may not come nearly as close to games from professional development studios, but it just goes to show that you don't need 100+ workers to make a successful game and leave your mark on the platform for the better. The world would be a much better place if it had more people like MiniToon, end of story.
I liked the video a lot! Well documented and articulated, and the editing definitely shows how much effort went into it.
piggy is still a bad game if you look at his past games like containment breach, and they were more creative even thought it was scp secret lab on roblox.
He worked hard and liked it and you shouldn’t make fun of minitoon work because your opinion is not the world opinion

the thing about piggy is that everyone new mostly look at it's surface, as someone who played that game since it's early stages, I can see why. I would love to go into detail about what I mean, however I don't feel like writing a long essay right now but I can say this quote "I came from the fame, and I stayed for the story"

Containment breach only gains when the staff host a event in it, it even has a wiki and you can find some custom versions of entity’s and characters and weapons on the wiki.
containment breach is still a legend and i will remember it for a long time.

Main reason people say piggy was better than rainbow friends , doors or even book 2 piggy , was simplicity. Book 1 was so simple on the gameplay but the storyline was beautiful. Now an uncosinstent dev (rainbow friends) and doors just got too popular on the first chapter. Piggys popularity took time and lockdown has a massive say in this. Just like tower of hell.
Doors doesn't really have chapters it's more like floors
Piggy (as a whole, both books') storyline were coherent and fun. Doors and Rainbow Friends' storyline are way too complicated, and Rainbow Friends has horrible quality.
It comes down to update times, the fact that a single dude chugged out a whole puzzle game faster than 2 studios could make a second update to theirs is crazy.

Actually roblox didn't allow minitoon to add dlc codes to piggy, so he got a developer that made piggy hunt (it released on steam ) that game kinda died and nobody is playing it so the dlc codes are pretty much useless.

Update to this year old video: MiniToon basically took back everything he said, there’s another season coming soon cops and robbers, a new cfc starting bunny, epic tank got hired and has made many W updates, a brand new spanking piggy game was born PIG 64 that’s gonna get a big part two update soon, and piggy X the lost book and piggy misfits are basically gonna be a can’t believe it’s not book 3

Kinda sad that piggy intercity hasn't released already(It was planned to release 6 months after the end of piggy but it's been like a year and a half) but I'm still excited and hyped! Hope it's out soon, cause it's best it releases in summer, anyways, but amazing vid!

Build mode items locked behind a robux pay wall. Seasons return, and instead of seasonal currency, it’s robux.

Minitoon is my favourite roblox dev! He gave us an amazing game, wich is my favourite in entire platform, wich i fully completed (including getting all skins and badges). This game will be in my heart forever....
