I played jailbreak from 2018-2020 or so. It was some of the coolest moments / games that I've ever played. Sadly I got banned (for visiting the ban pplace??? idk) but I still am greatful that I played during its prime.
This game is basically the reason roblox popped off and it is what it is today 2 dude created a game so good it attracted so many players and they gave roblox a try this game will be the most remembered in history

Roblox first was way different, look at games like doomspire brickbattle, chaos canyon, survive the disasters and greenwood town. It was really just to have fun and explore the limits of a sandbox where as of today games tend to focus more on monetization, appeal to a certain demograph etc etc. Making games here went from a hobby project by a few people to full on developer teams making full fletched games
Many people have retired from playing the jailbreak, but to this day I have not stopped playing this game because of my love for it and its diversity in everything. It was the first game I ever played on Roblox.From 2017 to now. thanks for Asimo And Badcc on this great masterpiece. And continue on this great channel with a new subscriber :)
i used to play jailbreak back in 2017 when i was running 20 fps on my moms laptop having the best time of my life even tho all my fast cars kept bouncing around cause of the lag, i still had a really fun time, then in 2019-2022, i upgraded to a faster ipad which let me become somewhat wealthy in the game and i got some pretty nice vehicles, 2017 and jailbreak brings back some good memories
I was there from the beginning and played until the Live Event. I have never seen something like this on the platform. They set the path for other devs that are insanely famous today

One of the reasons I quit Jailbreak was because the game just looks so new and doesn’t look like the good old 2020 jailbreak. During 2020 the community wasn’t as toxic, all the cars had that Jailbreak low Polly style, the map was the perfect size, and kreek did those nostalgic update videos, The game was perfect and simple 😢

I agree about the fact that this game is slowly dying down but asimo, is always the person to bring it up again. Thank you for all you have done asimo and badcc. Your games wills always be in my heart.
Sadly I quit this fenomenal game. It's not because if the repetitiveness, I always do find fun in it. The thing is, on lockdown school let me borrow their laptop, just like a few hundred other people. Unfortunately when pandemic was over, laptop had to be given back and that's how everything ended. Now I'm screwed with almost 4 years old phone from a budget line (Xiaomi Redmi)
i still see 20k plus playing now and its still enjoyable if you can grind with friends for new cars i dont recommend it on low end device since cars would be bouncy giving them a hard time driving and robbing around

Is there a reason why Asimo is the only developer being mentioned? Yea when it comes to models and visual affects he’s significant but when it comes to the actual functionality of it all badcc does amazing work. Sad that asimo is the face of the game when badcc is the backbone of its entire existence
I think I broke or almost broke most concurrent players once back in 2009 or 2010 I had over 2k players in and was on first spot on front page but just back then there was nothing that really motivated ordrove me to keep pushing. I was abig tycoon builder bad over 30m plays back before 2013
