this bike got me back into biking again, having some issues with the front derailer, but other than that I got a hundred miles in so far, starting to feel physically better, thanks for sharing your ride bro
Nice you will have a blast on it, just type this into amazon. MAMMOTH EMPIRE Bike Frame Bag Bike Bag Bicycle Triangle Bag Bike Storage Bag Bicycle Frame Pouch Bag for MTB Road Bike Cycling Bike Accessories Water resistant Bicycle Bags
I just got this bike but already I noticed its a pretty stiff ride which I assumed it would be given it doesn't have any suspension so I'm wondering how people deal with this on the trails? Is it you just let your knees and arms soak all the bumps or what? before this I only ever rode mountain bikes so I was always used to having that plush suspension
look, now you can go true up your wheels. that bike is not made for that kind of single tract, but it will do it but, the bike is a gravel bike that is made for light gravel and dirt roads and pavement, not rocky single tract. that's a mt bike trail. i mean i suppose you can ride it but i would not. I bought me a g-1 gravel bike just like the one you have. I am turning mine into a awesome touring bike. here's what the bike has that i noticed that nobody else is talking about. It has a long wheel base, and double wall rims with 36 spokes made for touring with heavy loads. the bike has a nice beefy frame that is 6061 aluminum. It has plenty of tire clearence, and it comes with a 2x drive train and kenda tires and internal routing all for 250 dollars. WOW, can't belive how good this bike rides. i have already done upgrades on mine. new gel saddle/ new adjustable stem/ new extra bar end tape/ a rear rack/ a seat post suspenion. new pedals/ and i am gonna install a axiom front rack and a climbing gear. when finished, i will put this touring bike up against any touring bike out there including the surly long haul trucker.I have steel touring bikes as well. I am not going to put my nice steel touring bike on a bus. This ozark trail touring bike is gonna be my bus bike.. yeah i would be mad if greyhound lost it But i will ship it to my destanation of choice and not worry about scratches . this bike is gonna be my do it all bike. I have already ridden almost 100 miles on it.
I think around 29 to 30lbs. Most of that is the fork, seat post, crankset and wheel seat. I’m slowly going to see what I can get it to, I lost over a pound changing the seat post and seat.
Hey man, great video and soundtrack 👌 just got this bike myself and loving it. Good stuff man, keep it up!

Yeah you let your knees and arms eat up the bumps.
Nice vid man, you know how to ride on those narrow trails!
Like riding in a day dream.
So far I have 50 miles on bike and added a lagoon beach cruiser seat because I ride Alot and weight 210 so I need max comfort
What is the gearing on that? Seeing it has old skool freewheel, I remember the lowest on a free wheel was 25 t
I don’t remember, you could always go 1x on the front and throw a mega range on the rear.
I've put over 300 miles on mine already. Great bike 🤙
What size frame you have?
The Medium.

I'm interested in picking one up, do you know how big of a tire it will take?
@@sandplasma 700c x 40mm
@@sandplasma videos of people putting 45c's on, and looks to be pleny of room to go 47-48 no problem
cool story bro.
I put 50mm WTB on mine
Good video, I like this pov.
Yo, where are you riding?
Clemson Experimental Forest.
You have a link to the frame bag ?
It's the mammoth frame bag on Amazon.
@Hardtail-Shredder-Trilordy thanks, guess they changed the style, ones on the site look smaller and different from yours
G.1 fam! Nice video!
G.1 is a steal and fun to ride
It would be better if they offered the frame set by itself for $50. I feel like I would be wasting money on parts I would just pitch in the bin.
Bro how tall are you? I’m 6 feet and feel like it’s a bit small
5’ 10” I feel like the stand over is a bit low but the reach is on the longer side.
I'm 5'9" and it feels fine.
I think the top tube is probably too short for you because I am on the bike at 5'11" and I could use an inch.
Any chance they will add large frame
The only thing the bike needs is front shocks
why would a gravel bike need front suspension lol
Personal preference if you can get front suspension to work for gravel bike it will just make ridding over bumps more smooth @@terrycruise-zd5tw
Nice
Thanks😊
I guess I got lucky! My brakes work great and do not squeak!
How much does the Beast weigh….it matters

this is a gravel bike not a mountain bike lol
Music ruined the video...
