I bought this tool and used it to regen my Mercedes. Software is not straight forward had to do a manual scan to get access to special functions and select my specific vehicle. Worked well and reset adblue also. Good tool once you work out how the software works
Not so impressed with Launch products of late. As a code reader they're great, but a lot of the special functions often fail to complete or simply won't initiate at all on cars I would have expected it work on. Autel seems to do a much better job in that respect but I do prefer Launch's operating system and interface. I guess non of them are perfect, that's why I've ended up with four different brands of diagnostic machines😁

In my new Launch X431 CRP919X BT the same option is called replace a new partical filter. Is it the same function? I have cleaned my Diesel particulate filter on my BMW 525D Xdrive and I need to do a reset to get rid of the error 244800. Thanks in advance:-))

I have refilled the additive fluid on my 2009 Volvo V70 1.6 diesel EcoDrive, but the car is still warning that the fluid is low. I have tried clearing the fault codes, but they keep coming back. I’m wondering how to reset the fluid counter using a LAUNCH CRP919X. Could you advise on how to proceed?

You know these are hacked Chinese versions that lack local support, right? They are very gray market, and you may experience issues with software updates and certainly warranty claims. And some local auto brands may not be compatible.
I've not used the MK808S but I'd say they are very similar. Each tool would connect to certain vehicles better than the other so its good to have both if you can.
Appears to be the facia colour, this one he’s using is the x the E has the red surround, apparently x used to have the latest feature but the E has been updated also
By reset do you mean delete? My Citroen relay is showing P20EE… it is going for export, would this tool allow me to disable ad blue system to get rid of check engine/ad blue light and warning tyvm

So for me having seen your every day scan tool this was pointless.or does this tool do live data with the pressure differential or is there any other tool that can do the live data and Dpf function that yours has with out skipping the mortgage for a year 😊
I have had a few code readers/diagnostic tools, it's about time they forced manufacturers to use a standard set of codes, so many readers will not fully speak to the car electronics, manufacturers like to custom their controls, you might get basic codes, but never fully communicate with the various engine/body/drivetrain modules, one of my tools is now almost useless, no updates and unable to talk to some newer cars, Most are Chinese knock-offs and you think its a good tool, but there is no support, Snap-On is good but beyond most home mechanics, even some fairly good gear is way too expensive, I cannot justify 5k for a reader, if in a few years it becomes useless.

Probably the best tool for the money I could find.
Considering the cost is just over £400, when you compare to my Tab 3 at £6,000.

I've not used the MK808S but I'd say they are very similar. Each tool would connect to certain vehicles better than the other so its good to have both if you can.

Not everyone can afford my Launch Tab 3 so I get asked to show cheaper tools regularly
