I also like to use Professor Snape in Free Play, not just for the Dark Magic items, but also because he can interact with Slytherin portraits, given that he’s Head of Slytherin House.
If you have him, in my opinion Tom riddle is the best character for free play. He’s in slytherin, has dark magic + avadacadavra +parcel tongue

One thing while you’re there the 10X brick is located all the way to the right on the “loft” area. While you’re grappling Snape this could really help you build your funds up fast.

Tom Riddle also works. That's the dark magic character I primarily used in free play and free roam after I unlocked him in the basilisk in free play

I've been looking for a character to unlock the dark items and everyone was telling me I need Tom Riddle, Voldemort, etc. however their ideas didn't help with what I was trying to actually accomplish. Your tutorial actually answered my question as well as showing me where & how to find the character token. I'm really happy that it's Prof. Snape! He's quite a strong character and I like choosing him for game play as well as the ability to open the dark chests. Liked & Subscribed ^_^
I always use Cedric if I need a hufflepuff
The sorting hat sorted it out.
Easy way
1:get the remastered version
2:go to Harry Potter
3:filter it to slitherins
4:snape will be there but he won’t be unlocked you could play as him

I’ve got 2.7 billion, and will progress to get millions more. Watch a video on the cheat codes and you can get coin multipliers. If you break everything, an easy 50m+ every level. Can also get invincibility, more hearts etc.

Hi I found a quicker way unlock griphook then go round Tom riddles diary and unlock the safe in the basilisk battle then buy Tom riddle
There is a glitch in the characther selcting menu if you preselct a character but don't confirm and then filter you can get the first character of a filter type but in the level if you switch it away you can't get it back but still a pretty cool glitch

Griphook is the only character with a key. In Years 5-7, there is actually a second character with a key.

Get professor snape using the glitch in free play then get to professor Quirell token and use polyjuice and you’ll have crucio and avada kedavra.
Or get Tom Riddle

Aleesha Mitchell snapes not the only one you can use for that you just need someone with dark magic I used Barty Crouch Jr for that one because that’s who I had at theh time,Lucius is in the follow the spiders area in the treasure chest you can use him.Snape isn’t the only character who knows dark magic

this video pointed me in the right direction to find a dark wizard token but in 5-7 how do I star using dark magic? I have a dark wizard but can't use the magic.
Sounds like you have not yet finished the STORY mode yet? If you did indeed jump a bit ahead to get the Dark Arts Wizard, we recommend finishing up all STORY levels before trying to take on the FREE PLAY! Hope this helps!
How do I get out of hogwarts? It says I will lose progress if I go back to Diagon alley

How far do you need to be in to have this open because for me it's just a closed door, but also when I tried to go into Hogwarts and free roam it just said continue story so that might be it
We ALWAYS recommend completing STORY before doing any FREE PLAY or FREE ROAM stuffs..

I have just played this game through to the Basilisk and I don’t have a dark arts teacher so I followed this video. I can’t get down the right hand side of the bell tower where the green keys are. What am I doing wrong 😢 when I went to diagon alley there only dobby that I could buy and not that greengotts teller u got. This game is cute but what a pain
Couple questions.. Have you completed STORY all the way? We always recommend you complete STORY before jumping into FREE PLAY. If you have, and you have a Dark Arts Wizard you should be good. Now when you say "you can't get down the right side of the bell tower" what do you mean? We often recommend a restart of the system, not just the game but the system which often corrects loading bugs glitches.

@@HappyThumbsGaming I completed the the 1-4 years friend and I am on the free play but why is it when I get into greengotts bank the goblin disappears when Hagrid stand on the circle ⭕️ and doesn’t open the gate? I have gone through this 4 times now. Any ideas bud? Cheers
@@jaja8951 Have you tried restarting your system yet? A restart can and often will fix loading bugs/glitches like it seems you found. Hope this helps!

Is it possible you didn't load the right save? Or you saying your Save file is gone? If the save file is gone, sadly unless you had it backed up on a cloud service somewhere, it is likely gone. Hope that is not the case.. hopefully you just loaded the wrong save slot?

If u still need help go to the leaky cauldron and go up the stairs to the room then the room at the end the watch the cutscene when they drink the poly juice potion

How do I get to leave 5 6 and 7? The ghost guy only claps his hands at me when before o would follow him to the next level, is there something special I need to do? Do I need to play the free play and get everything completed to move o. To level 56 and 7?
Would love to try and help, but not sure I understand the question. In order to progress in the STORY levels, the ghost should guide you with studs to the next area. Not knowing for sure what level you are on, it is hard to say. My best advice would be to follow our STORY videos vs our FREE PLAY ones as we address each level on how to get there and how to beat them. Last note I will leave, you never need to play FREE PLAY to progress the STORY. We always recommend finishing the STORY completely before attempting to play through the FREE PLAY levels. Hope this helps and if it doesn't, please give us some more info regarding what was your last level you completed, and where you are in the FREE ROAM/Hogwarts HUB area.
@@HappyThumbsGaming I figured it out. I had to go out of the game and start a new game in order to play 5 6 and 7. After you do the first 4 season. However Isn't there hidden rooms in the first 4 seasons that can be played? I think I read something like that awhile ago. I have not played the free play yet one one in the first season to get snap.
