WVA 470 Hand Alignment

In this video I show how to adjust the analog hands just in case they fall out of alignment with the watch's digital time. Things like magnetic interference and physical shocks can cause the hands to display the wrong time, so Casio built a feature into this watch allowing the user to adjust and correct the hands. In the 7 years I've owned this watch there was only one time when the hands were incorrect. I used the hand setting function to correct the hands and there has been no trouble with hand alignment since then.
In other videos I have demonstrated hand realignment procedures for other Casio watches. The instructions are slightly different depending on which watch you're adjusting. The WVA-470 in this video is discontinued, but Casio's replacement models can also be adjusted. Perfect, just what I needed. I've been out of sync for a couple of years. I have this watch because it keeps perfect time, just did not display it properly with the analog hands.

Thanks for such an informative and helpful video Greg. I watch absolutely masses of you tube content, every day I'm on it for many years; I have to tell you your clear informative manner is excellent. It was so easy for me to understand and set x2 of these amazing watches after the newer (5 years old) had developed a time anomaly; gain 2 hours overnight. After watching this and another video I've realised that must have been a magnet I left near it on bedside and if I hadn't seen this I would not have been able to use watches. Greg- You are a god to me!!
I thought my battery had packed in as I forgot it needed daylight, I replaced the battery with a normal battery, I then realised and reinstalled it's proper CTL1616 but the time wouldn't come to the correct reading!
