Stuff like the NPC’s actually fighting back is something Spider-man 2 definitely needed. Danika praises New York for standing against the invasion but we only ever saw them running away from attacks. The only ones fighting the symbiote’s were the Spider-men and the Hunters. Everyone else was hiding because they were told to (but also told to look for missing people), so it feels like New York didn’t really do much
I've played it for years and it really isn't you only play the game to complete it once it's done there is no free roam and the game is very clunky and has very lackluster animations and mid voice acting but atleast the symbiote combat is fun

This game's combat system, but less janky and unpredictable would go crazy. An Arkham inspired system works, but taking the DMC route of giving people crazy ass combos and moves to let them free style the enemies in style just goes so much harder.

A modern graphics remastered version of this game wouldn't be dope ❤❤❤❤❤ tbh it doesn't even need remaster but this game have no save slot option like god of war game where you can save at certain point and play it from there whenever you like

The civilian reactions are also based on your actions. If you’re good - they will cheer for Red Spider-Man, and cautiously examine black suit and even walk away in disgust. If bad, they will examine red suit spider man and walk away in disgust, but for black suit Spider-Man, they will instantly run away in fear.
Yeah I noticed all those Easter eggs, here's another one: The mission where you find civilians infected with symbiotes, the part Spiderman throws a civilian off the roof because that civilian is infected, and then the cops start shooting at Spidy, when you appear to the regular civilians as "Spiderman", they will be afraid of you and they will start running away and the cops will still shoot at you, even if you helped them defeat the bad guys
I would’ve preferred insomniac had went in the direction with the gameplay with the symbiote like they did in web of shadows. Like the web shield or the tendril attacks being more often instead of being a power up practically
Although I do I love insomniacs version of the black suit (Gameplay wise) I wos is just more true to how much destruction black suit spidey can cause. They don’t make games that allow you to be desctuctive during free roam like that. SM2 would probably crash if cars would be thrown and explode
