An interesting original idea, I think the first I see in this challenge, that didn't come with a piece of furniture. Really like it!!!!!! Thanks man!!!!
Great idea to cut and stack the pieces like that to get so much depth out of one sheet of ply. Loved the "shark dust" because I know the crazy amount of sawdust those grinder discs create, it always amazes me. At the end I would have had to take a blow torch and burn the top half to create that two tone shape sharks have between top side and underside.
Wonderful. I've always wanted to tackle an 'art' project like this because plywood is so versatile, offering great results. Especially when you use something like ApplePly which has tight plied edges, and really makes your work stand out as an artform. Great work! Thank you.
Nice work. I saw the Rockler challenge guys talk about this and had to see the process. Also the video isn't too long which is a problem for some of the other entries but I still get the complete idea of how you went about doing things. Also nice that you included fixing an unforeseen problem. Thanks
That looks amazing!! I can't imagine the amount of time and effort you put in to it! If you're unsure of what to do with it now, it would be so cool to donate it to a children's museum. I feel like it would be really appreciated in a place like that 😊. Great job though!
Great work. Fun video to watch and learn how to do this. The way you showed the parts that were challenging and how you worked through those was very helpful. Good eye for bringing out the essence of movement in the piece. Thanks very much for sharing this.
Wow I just came across this. Absolutely awesome. I’ll be working on my shark tomorrow. Hope it comes out looking close to yours. Great job!! What kind of plywood did you use?
Imagine how dope it would be to make different sea animals out of plywood and hang them from the ceiling to make it look like your room is under the sea in a sense
It was great to see something so different put together and to see it so well done! Awesome work and I think you've captured the sense of movement and the proportions brilliantly. TRhank you for sharing :))
Looks great. My ethos is one piece though. There's so much more enjoyment and achievement from carving something from one piece of wood. No cuts, no joins, just one chunk.

This is awesome! Can’t wait to share it with my young woodworking students, as we are all stuck at home, remote learning, because of the civil emergency.

Quite impressive, best ROCKLER challenge so far, not all the tools of the big RUclipsrs, either. Makes it all the more spectacular
Wonderful.
