      hahah I've left my weather app on Celsius since being here to learn, and have gotten a little better at it (I think?). You are going to have THE best time! Paragliding is a rollercoaster from the jump to soaring through the sky. Thank you very much and enjoy Switzerland!

    Great video! Soo should you spend a night in Lauterbrunnen or is beautiful but just a few our will do? May stay 2 nights at Interlaken and visit Lauterbrunnen, en the nearby villages? I”m a bit confused as to where established a base so I don’t have to daily move to a new hotel. Thanks for you video ❤

    • @morganseel
      @morganseel  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hello and thank you! I did the visit in one day, but that left me wanting plenty more. You could absolutely spend a night or two in Lauterbrunnen and visit each side of the valley, including the villages of Murren and Wengen. If you prefer to stay in Interlaken you can make it a day trip (just go extra early) see Lauterbrunnen and one of the mountain villages, then perhaps end the day by catching sunset in Grindelwald on the way back to your home base!

      @@morganseel This is my Switzerland itinerary for October. I am trying to figure out if I should buy the Swiss travel pass or a 50% off pass with a Jungfrau pass or a Top of Europe pass. I figure the Swiss travel pass will pay off with all the activities / travels listed above but I'm honestly unsure, I was also thinking if I got a Jungfrau pass and 50% off pass that could make sense too. One thing that had me stumped is I can’t figure out which pass jungfrau and grindelwald first cable cars are free with, I'll be using those a fair amount so figured I could decide a bit better with that in mind. Was wondering if you knew about that or even which passes would be best in regard to my itinerary. also any suggestions / changes for my itinerary it would be much appreciated.
      Note: Im 20 years old so I would receive the discounted youth prices for the passes

      @@riyan7205 Hey man! Sorry I'm just getting to this, but your itinerary looks incredible! I don't have much in the way of changes, as this looks great. Definitely smart to factor in some rest days, as it can get exhausting traveling, hiking, and exploring for multiple days on end. You're hitting a ton of the top spots. Glad to see you've got paragliding and the toboggan in there - but are a lot of fun and especially epic in Switzerland. For a nice down day, I'd recommend finding a bath house. They are all over and part of the culture, especially in the fall and winter months. They have saunas, huge indoor and outdoor pools with various jets, hamams, hot tubs, cold plunges, and generally have a bar / restaurant. Can't recommend them enough!

      @@ishwarchand2907 This one was shot on an A7Siii, but I also use an a6400 that's an APSC and it looks amazing. I don't think a full frame is necessary by any means, you can get amazing shots with an APSC and a good lens. I'd just aim to always try to nail your focus and exposure and you'll be golden.

    • @morganseel
      @morganseel  Год назад

      Hello, and thank you! I was here for a day trip, but you have a lot of good options. You can stay in Interlaken, the closest city, which is only 20-30 minutes away. There are also several nice hotels in Lauterbrunnen itself, or even a reasonably priced mountain hostel in Gimmelwald. Other options to stay up in one of the small villages are renting a chalet up the mountain or there’s a nice hotel in Wengen. Hope that helps!

    What village had the best view ? I am visiting Italy in June but will go to lauterbrunnen valley for a overnighter trip. Where would you stay ? Wengen ? Lauterbrunnen ? Murren?

    • @morganseel
      @morganseel  Год назад

      Hey Paul! Lauterbrunnen itself is at the bottom of the valley, so for the views you're definitely going to want to take the gondola up into the mountain villages. Wengen is on one side of the valley and Murren on the opposite. Wengen has the most quintessential jaw-dropping view through the valley and is a bigger village with more shops and restaurants. Murren is more sleepy, but very charming and is on the route up to the famous James Bond rotating restaurant if that's something on your list. I would stay in Wengen, then do a little day trip to the Murren side to explore.
