they should really bring back the way they did ladder matches in svr 2007 because sometimes now with the hold and pull, you can win in like 1 or 2 tries. having the title/briefcase drain made it so much more fun to me

Other than adding the ability to have more people in a match we're only going to see the same features just redone some. For example when people ask to bring things back from previous games. It's all already been done.

Basically Ladder Mechanics are Smackdown 1 - SVR 06, SVR 07 - SVR10, SVR11- WWE2K16 (2K17 PS3), 2K17 (PS4). So all in all after like 16 years, only 4 different ways of winning. Lazy

TBH the title/briefcase grabbing system from WWE 2K14-WWE 2K16 was super EASY and good! IDK why the heck did the have to change the system of it from WWE 2K17 onwards!
My favorite was 2007 just bc me and my cousin he'd wait till I got it all the way down and knock me off then basically tip the analog sticks in the sweet spot and win but it was still extremely fun even though he was a massive dick about it

Ladder matches have always sucked in games, 9 times out of 10 you're on the mat overselling a snapmare and your opponent gets the ladder and belt all to himself in an anti-climactic finish.

It took 17 years to finally change the animation for grabbing, and obtaining the belt/briefcase. I'm so glad for that.

I hated how they removed the feature from SvR 11 where you would land on the top rope whenever the ladder you were on top of got tipped over.
