well, her persistence paid off in fairy war, as she went from stage 2 boss to playable character.
And now she's in TH16.
Also she fought Marisa and won even if Marisa was kinda going easy on her based on the after battle diolouge you can see that Cirno would probably have still won even if Marisa wasn't holding back
+ obtaining a Tan!

I love that ending - the idea of freezing a flower to make a weapon really encapsulates Cirno's character. If her definition of "strength" is "taking something weak and making it more than what it was," then, in a way, having risen from a minor boss to one of the franchise's most beloved characters and even becoming playable, she really is pretty strong, isn't she?
Cirno may not be the best at strength and wits but her perseverance and confidence is very admirable.
Cirno is actually the strongest fairy, as it’s confirmed in touhou 9

People really over analyse franchises and its really upsetting... why can't they just enjoy something for what it's worth and not see if X character can surpass lightspeed or whether Y character really can blow up a planet or not...?
Because some of us are the types that like to over analyze stuff, were too intellectual for our own good, but honestly that IS how we enjoy the series, if we can drum up a conversation were happy. PS- No offense to you personally Yorihime but fuck the lunarians, Seig Kaguya!

Hmm, that sure was a silly comment for me looking back at it. I agree with some sutff, in that when people argue over small details it can be sad, but seeing how fast or strong characters are sure can be fun. When it gets to angry, unhappy conversation and insults though... then my comment applies~

Marisa: *Masterparks her from 10 meters away*
Cirno then freezes Marisa's lazer like in fairy war and proceeds to launch more ice
Yuuka would be very proud. Marisa stole her attack and used it for the right purpose, for once.
No doubt this is THE STRONGEST SONG! EVER!
