Every time this game gets updated and I play it, I tremble in fear at dark rooms. Can't wait to go into my own personal hell of never-ending dark rooms. This is still an amazing update. wow. It's been 3 months already. I know that this is one of the "smaller" updates but it's absolutely amazing! The new badges aren't that hard tho and I was able to get one in my second try (not five stars) and one in my first (hotel hell). The modifiers still give a decent challenge from super easy to impossible and I really love it. I've been challenging myself with this update so much and I almost won the game with 200% modifiers on (died on doors 100). Keep up the great work! I'm excited for what u have in store for us next, LSPLASH!
AH YES! I missed Doors. A lot. Playing it last fall and winter was a time to be alive, and I cannot be thankful enough for the memories. I'm very happy to see this game come back to life, after playing such an important part of it last year
Guys. I am just now playing the new modifiers update for Doors and I recognize something. After the Hotel+ Update, the vibes felt different. Like, playing the game for the first time before the huge update was a vibe that hit different for me; like walking into a dark room and flicking on a lighter whilst playing Doors with my sister for the first time in August 2022, when the game's popularity was rising. Anyways, the Hotel+ update made the game feel not the same, despite it being way better than it used to in many ways, but the vibes didn't feel the same. They were more scary and new. The old one, however, felt more eerie, mysterious, and classic, if that makes sense. Well I am playing the modifiers update and I am getting so much nostalgia because I suddenly start feeling like the game gives off the same old vibe it used to. I feel like this is partly due to them adding old sounds and other things like how they were removed after the Hotel+ update. An example of this is the ambience that they brought back in this modifiers update. Another may be the fact that they switch the Rush sound like how it was when the game originally came out. There are other inexplainable things that are hard to explain that feel different and more classical like how it was before the hotel+ update. But anyways, I can't be the only one. Something that would drastically increase nostalgia is if they added those old mini library rooms back. MAN would that be awesome.

I do think LSplash is following a trend in big boi updates. Notice how we got the Hotel+ update on January 29 and the game released on August 10th and the Modifications update came upon 26th of August. So doing the math it’s calculated that big updates will be about 6 months in gap, if the next update is Floor 2, LSplash will most likely delay or announce that Floor 2 is gonna take a while to be created. Side Note: The Rooms took 6 months to be created along with the Hotel+ update. The Rooms is a lot bigger but lacks originally, graphics, and different kinds of Rooms. This would remove some steps of developing and would take less time if it was applied to the original game.
Ideas for modifiers: Just like the Beggining : Play doors without the hotel+ update Shhhh! : You can't crouch at door 50 and door 100 I always come back : Rush can appear in every room No time : You only have 30 minutes to complete Doors Big step : Halt can teleport without the "turn around" message Complete Chaos : All entities can attack in every room Nothing : No entities can attack Lights completely On : Every room was lights on
Hello I was thinking of two new entities + jump scare and achievements So first one is Bed as everyone always clicks on bed instead of drawers so like all black under not always with eyes and arms and if u open a draw near a bed and Bed is under they he will grab ur ankles and pull u under and die but it’s 50/50 chance to spam space bar to escape and pull out like spamming 2:Wall so he’s a good entity you could see a body shape on wall and if u get dupe he will crucifix him he’s all black and gives you a crucifix after and just vanished he’s %30 of chance to get if u already got him and u got him again u can choose a different item Hope this will be seen!!

My question is considering this is based off of spookies jumpscare mansion will you ever make a build your own mansion where we can make our own randomly generating rooms. For a modded hotel which completely removes all the old doors rooms if you go into an elevator with modded hotel lol.

if you havent kept up with what lsplash has posted in both his twitter and discord, he has been busy moving out so he hasnt had the time to work on the game. and redibles doesnt do programming, so no work could be done. redibles also posted a video recently about a month or two ago explaining what has happened and that they have started work on floor 2. so floor 2 basically just started development like 2 months ago
Btw the icon on the premier is the icon for modifiers I believe, so I guess it’s actually happening. Unless he just goes live to say that he has to delay it (which i think is gonna happen)

The modifiers are amazing, the only problem is with figure and the "didnt skip leg day" modifier. Even if you crouch with this modifer on, figure will detect you and move towards you.

Dude, LSPLASH and Redibles you guys are seriously hard-working and doors is just so good and very wellmade, this game is literally better than mimic, I hope doors stays alive forever and I will never quit doors, I would just take a break but not quit it, I don't know why but even I beat the game 40 times I'm still addicted to this game that's just how good this game is.
The graphics, sounds, soundtracks, animations, room designs and just so much more that you guys just honestly deserve all the love that you get, In my opinion this is definitely the first best roblox game in my opinion.
