Did pulled pork for the first time yesterday after watching this video - had an epic stall but after 10 hours it was absolutely tremendous. Thanks for the inspiration dude!
Mate, awesome stuff. Was literally on your videos earlier today looking for how you cook your pulled pork. The timing is uncanny. Keep up the awesome work
Finally smoked my first PK pork butt the other day. Not quite as good smoke flavor as off my offset smoker but the weather wasn’t the best for tending a fire. Even in the cool wind the grill held temps better than I expected, and I completely agree, it’s quite efficient in terms of fuel usage. Also, my wife confirmed it had a lot more smoke flavor than if cooked on my Kamado Joe. Tell you what! That new PK and your offset smoker in the background are two of the best cookers a guy could have! Good video!
Excellent informative videos. I was going to buy a Weber Mastertouch, but I’ve been thinking of a PK 300. I have a char griller which is solid and have had for about 8 years and still looks good as new as I season it regularly. I like the look and function’s of the PK, so I think I will order the PK AF 300 from Pro Smoke.
I have a pk360. When ever I do low and slow cooks, all the ash chokes out the fire at the end of the cook. There is no way to get rid of the ash like you can on a Weber kettle…. Any ideas?
Im about to get myself a pk, definitely smoking a pork butt first! That looks delicious bro, great job! Im amazed on how it holds temp for such a long period of time.
Great to finally have some good BBQ vids from the UK, keep going! By the way, be careful splitting your wood on your patio... take my word for it, cracking one of those tiles is gonna really annoy you! :-)
I’m a salt and pepper guy on brisket, beef ribs, etc but it just does not work for pork. Has to have more spices with it. The only time you’ll find me disagreed with many of the great pitmasters in Texas but I don’t think they use just S&P either…
That’s fair! I genuinely just prefer simple salt and pepper on pretty much all bbq. I’m not a huge fan of sweet rubs, or too much garlic powder. I like to keep it fairly plain with salt pepper and smoke, and add sauce /pickles for a sandwich. I often use leftovers for tacos etc so it’s rare it would be eaten without something a lil extra!
Pulled this one together pretty quickly, as I was desperate to cook on this new grill! What should I cook next?!
You gotta throw a brisket on this little tank!
Beef ribs maybe, great vid by the way.
Would be interested to see how many racks of ribs you could get on there?
A brisket point end
Turkey Tails please
The bark looked so good on this! Offset level dark 😳 I laughed at the Chud swallow at the end too 😂
I’ve had an original PK for years now and your video has given me the confidence and motivation to start smoking bbq for the first time.
That’s awesome man! Honestly, I use it way more than you’d ever think. It’s so easy and consistent
Gotta love some pulled pork! The PK holding temp like a ceramic is pretty cool
My favorite bbq pulled pork of all time is Interstellar BBQ. Your bbq looks pretty dang good! Keep up the bbq and videos!

As soon as you started to pull the pork I knew you didn’t need that reserve juice. Expert bbq mate.
Just bought one for my dad after he fell in love with my PK360. They make quality products. Excellent video BTW.
You are Probably the best BBQ Cook in this country Dave,Amazing Mate

Please do more videos of the PK 300/AF! Your ideas are great

Fantastic looking pulled pork. That PK looks like it ran really efficient. Good job. 👍🏼
Thank’s Joe! Definitely efficient, and was nice to sit back and let it do it’s thing while I got on with other stuff.
Solid cook! I really like following you on here. Being in Texas myself, it’s great to see the UK doing it up! Great job, keep it up.
Thank you! Love your channel!

Looking at a PK as my travel grill. How do you feel it compares to an offset flavor wise?
Great to finally have some good BBQ vids from the UK, keep going! By the way, be careful splitting your wood on your patio... take my word for it, cracking one of those tiles is gonna really annoy you! :-)
How would you compare the taste of this to an offset?
What kg was this shoulder ?
Watching from Evansville In, nice socks my mom used to ware those,,,, lol
ha! They're so comfortable
Nice!
Lot of juice and nice bark with not much fuel for the cook, super efficient.
What temp do you cook the meat to, 200°?
It was probably over 200. I just take it out when it probed tender all over
where are you based out of?
Oxford, U.K.
How does it compare to a pulled pork off the Franklin?
Nice off set! Is the PK worth it? Or just stay with my Weber kettle?
What is the name of the butcher that you bought the shoulder from, please?
Peter Goss - Bicester
@@WilsonsBBQ Thank you, I think my niece's husband works there. I'll have to pay him a visit.
Looks great mate and I’m sure it tastes delicious! Was the local butcher Goss’s?
It was! Thank you!
That is beautiful. But when he pulled it apart, I started looking for my girl 🙏🏾🙏🏾
