Some Westwood Developer out there is probably regretting ever giving out a feee engineer on MCV selling!
TBF engineers were never this strong in future titles for a reason, haha.

@@Mattrobertsnz I don't get how people can play strategy games on consoles .. but at least it is a great game. It was also one of the first strategy games i played on pc .. i think after Warcraft 1 and 2. Which were also great games.

I like how the strategy for so many of these missions is to basically become a spreading virus of engineers.

Peace through power? With me it’s more like peace through building a pretty looking base for hours with walls and everything 😀 think that’s what makes watching someone else do speed runs so enjoyable for me. They are different. Congrats on 3k subs 👍

Also mission 3 gave me a laugh - I didn’t know what to expect, but certainly not driving the MCV right through the front door. Nicely done.
They can be, but they move slowly and die easily, and the computer will start attacking buildings you take over if they are in the vicinity. Playing like this is very risky and i imagine he tried each mission many times before succeeding.
Soldier: They have us surrounded and outnumbered! What do we do?
Commander: Sell all the buildings and charge them with Todd the Engineer at the lead.
Solder: But.. Sir, with all due respect that doesn't make any sense.
Commander: Do not doubt. Trust in the power of Todd.

I spent like 5 hours on New Construction Options. Using Sandbag Glitch and such but you beat it in like 5 MIN LOL
Sandbag glitch is the best way to play. The only way to play now

I really like this game, always have and even more so in the remastered version. But I am so very glad they made the GDI and NOD so different in Tiberian Sun, here they are too similar. They are truly unique in form and function in TS. I hope to God TS and RA2 get the same love in a similar remaster. 😁

You think Kane just gets lucky one of his commanders is so capable under his command, or does he KNOW that with a specific commander assigned to tasks he'll get favorable results, even if they are supremely unorthodox?
kane has a temple of nod where he worships himself.
That is a good question.
@@Joker-no1fz Kane does not worship himself. He has the temple to confuse GDI, and to get his followers to be very controlled. At the end of NOD Tib Sun, Kane achieves Ascension. He is admittedly not of this world.

I played this on the N64 as a kid and the Nod campaign was an almost impossible challenge for me. So to say I'm stunned at the skill here is an understatement lol.

My mind is blown with mission 11, I thought you had to use the artillery to clear the turrets then go into the bottom base to capture it, didnt know commando could just peek over the cliff and claim the buildings thats insane.
I assumed you could slither up the side and sneak into the top base like you did but when I tried I kept accidentally aggroing the tower and gave up
It only works in the B variant of the mission. In the A one, you can't get into the enemy base with the starting forces, you can't scout your base from the north, you don't have the free com center and power plant in your base, and there's a long annoying corridor next to the river that you need to pass through to get to the base.
B is just overall a ton easier.
You can just imagine 1995 Westwood in the background shouting "No no no that's not how you're supposed to do it wtf how did you just rush past them omg why didn't we nerf engineers?!"

Good job. I see the computer works exactly like in the older version. Quicker you go attack base the less the computer expands saving alot of time and nerves being stuck in a sand box. And I noticed the computer still attacks top of map target first. Well done.
Back in the day this all had to be done clicking faster without macros 😉

Damn, I just replayed this game, and was mad AF that Nod only got a few units to start, and you had to trek through the mobs of GDI, in Most of the missions.
- There were a few times I was convinced it was impossible.
- Videos like this make me question my life...
We need people like this working with developers, suggesting better gameplay and macros, because this game is still a pain in the ass to handle.

It's really fun to see how well you play these missions, and try to challenge myself to do the same. But a few of the missions are different for me for some reason. Both the guard tower in mission 9 and the advanced guard tower in mission 11 have longer range for me, and will destroy my troops easily when I try to do what you do. Guess they changed some things in a patch or whatever. :/
It's all about positioning vs guard towers, and stealing their power plants before approaching AGTs :)
@@StuGames Yeah, I managed to do it in the end, but maneuvering like you did was very finnicky and required a lot of attempts on my part.
I love how you did missions it took me hours to do on hard in seconds..... -_-

I tried to use your tactics, but I'm just not fast enough :-P
Practice makes perfect + better reactions/skills I guess, BUT I got a lot of inspirations and certainly cut down my finishing time substantially.
While I ofc realize that C&C TD is an old game and should be judged with this in mind, I still find it to be kinda annoying, and the GDI campaign is very bland :-P
Now on to Red Alert which I was around to play back in the day and carries a whole lot of nostalgia for me and a better story to boot.

It should be possible (but a bit complicated), you can use the Mega File Editor (MegEditor-1.3.1) to edit CnCRemastered\Data\MUSIC.MEG
