A couple corrections: it's Billy the Puppet, not Billy the Clown. And the producer that picked up the movie was Gregg Hoffman, not Jeff Hoffman.
The only "victim" in Dead by Daylight based on SAW is David Tapp.
And this might just have been me misunderstanding your words, but the Reverse Bear Trap in Dead By Daylight is not a cosmetic item or anything, it is a crucial element to The Pig's gameplay. She can put a Reverse Bear Trap on the victims' heads when they're on the ground, and then they are forced to find a cage with Billy the Puppet on top and do a minigame to get it off before the timer concludes.
The Kickstarter for The Jigsaw Trials did conclude already. I don't know if they've shipped out yet, but I'm very excited! I got the special edition with the (hopefully fake) severed hand.

Also, to add to your corrections, when he said that Leigh and James were from Australia, he showed a picture of Sydney, when they’re actually from Melbourne.

    A few corrections:
Billy the puppet was a name made by the fans, the puppet itself didn't have a name and technically still doesn't
the production took 18 days, not two weeks.

Would love to see a deep dive into the Cube movies - there is even some games based on the idea - Half dead... Simple idea could they could have done so much more with. Strangers awaken in cubic cells, some of them booby-trapped. They must use their combined skills if they are to escape.

I'm more shocked there hasn't been another Saw video game in this day and age, especially with Asymmetrical Multiplayer games popping off as well as they are, getting as much big movies as possible to ride that Dead by Daylight train, from largely horror icons to freaking Ghostbusters, a Saw Multiplayer experience could work where you and a bunch of players can either help or hinder each other to try and survive Jigsaw's traps and escape, while one player is Jigsaw being the mastermind, setting up traps and what have you.
The closest we got to such a concept was Outlast Trials which is basically what I said, but it's the Survivor idea of helping or hindering each other to survive in a series traps and escape rooms to deal with, with the added threat of foes chasing you down and ending your life in seconds.

There have been NUMEROUS times when I wanted to reference some bizarre crime or accident and tried to look it up to mention the names/dates specifically, only to find the search-results returned MULTIPLE cases that matched. When there are over 8 BILLION people in the world, even the most unlikely things become likely. 😒 "arborist takes child to work, falls in wood-chipper"… WHICH ONE? 🤦

Since, as you said, this one isn't going to be blessed by the algorithm, I'm watching it through and doing all the interactive things that feed the algorithm to do my small part to boost the optics.

Konami's take on the SAW framchise, is indeed a bizarre thing to see. It's very crazy that how a simple horror movie just instantly became a successful money making phenomenon. I'd like to see TellTale's take on it.

Learned some stuff about the franchise I never knew. Loved the franchise from the first movie, not a fan of the last one (but the atmos track was great).
As for the game, I enjoyed it way back. Never played the second game.
If this game was never based on a movie and had a bigger budget, I bet it would have been far more popular.

I did try out the Saw video game and like our guy here I enjoyed my time with it, although I didn't finish it due to technical hiccups controller wise, I was playing the PS3 version and it required Sixaxis for certain parts including the balance board traversal thing, which the Sixaxis then dropped me in the pit of spikes every time, it's a shame cause I do want to see where the story ends for that game and also check out the films afterwards.

I’ve always been curious of these games, despite their low review scores, and you’re making me feel like I should give them a shot. Konami’s been slightly better in the re-release department recently, so hopefully these will eventually get a modern release (though, I’d be up to giving the PS3 version a try if I managed to come across it for a good price.)

Hell yeah Aussie film making teams breaking out with a horror movie...seems to happen a lot haha. Kinda blows my mind that the big action set-piece moment for Detective Pikachu happened at the same place as Saw 1...and a Dre/Snoop videoclip.
Hearing praise for the first game kinda took me aback at first, can remember really not liking it...then noticed that I'd played the second, not the original. Which makes more sense haha.
BRB though, making a horror film franchise about a serial feet tickler so that came be expanded into a buncha videogames too.

Right?! How is that a thing? As someone who hates having my feet touched at all, let alone tickled, I think I'd rather be sexually assaulted by an intruder than have my feet tickled. True story: I fell asleep on my friend's couch one afternoon and his young daughter thought it would be funny to tickle my foot. I woke up and instinctively kicked, hitting her square in the face. When she went crying to her father, he just said, "What did I tell you about doing that to sleeping people?" meaning I wasn't the first.
