@@michaelmichaelagnew8503 ended up the Top Fuel 2022, Al frame. I am 54 and my days of dropping off 6ft over hangs are done and do not need the extra travel that comes with the Fuel EX.
@@TalalipopMTB Ik this isn’t as easy as a bike component comparison but next time you should go into more detail about shock orientation between like all the bike brands. Probably easiest with specialized. I just find that really interesting/confusing so you will prob clear that up with a lot of people.
Great video! I am looking at a new bike finally! I have a 2011 Giant Anthem X29er but wanting to move back to Trek. My area for riding is rocky and technical but occasionally go to Bentonville Arkansas where the trails are flowing and somewhat technical for sure in areas. I am looking at the top fuel 9.8 and the fuel ex8. Any suggestions? I’m 60 yrs old weigh 200 so I don’t go real fast or race
Very great vid! Worth a sub :) In your opinion, which would you prefer between Fuel EX and Top Fuel? And supecaliber (which is unavailable in my country :( )
Hi Please can you make a video comparing the best Hybrid mountain bikes like Trek Dual sport against hybrid bikes from other brands ie Polygon x Heist Giant Escape and many others.
Currently own a trek marlin 5 2021 . Looking for my first full suspension bike . What would you recommend for my first full suspension I mainly ride in Moore creek and skyline park in napa valley . Cheers
Dude..you did a great job tbh.. omg is soo much information witch person like me want to buy first full suspension bike and have noooo idea what's the difference between models....omg thank you soo much ❤❤❤❤❤ btw.. am getting tbh waiting for a fuel ex 5 2022 as a first full suspension bike and the choice I made watching your video because you explained everything I needed to know and what I needed... omg sub from me bro 😘😘😘😘
I’d say the fuel ex is more capable now. The remedy is actually getting fully discontinued and it’s a bit dated frame wise now as well. Still a cool bike that’s very capable, but the new fuel is insane
What’s the difference from the old full floater suspension to the newer design . Is it better or worse? Trek made it seem the full floater design was the best thing ever. Why did they change?
Good video. There's a lot of overlap between the top fuel and fuel ex right now. Maybe it will change when the new fuel ex bikes come out, but right now I would say the top fuel is the better overall bike than the fuel ex, as the top fuel has the newer designs.
Do you have a Trek Hardtail Comparison? I'm new to your channel. Great overview on those bikes. Now I know what Full sus bike to buy, next is how to buy. 😄
Was wondering why the Fuel EX didn't look right its the Gen 5 not the Gen 6. The Gen 5 is closer to an XC while the Gen 6 can do both XC and downhill well. Noticed this video is right before the Gen 6 models came out. Love to see a new version of this video.
Such a great and informational video to better understand the differences. Nicely explained and super practical!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for your help clarifying the differences between these bike.
No problem! Thank you for watching :)
Excellent work putting up all the data
Thank you!
Incredibly useful video! Thank you! ❤
You’re welcome :)
Exactly the information i needed to make a decision, thanks!
Welcome!
Ultimate comparison
:D
Considering the Fuel EX 9.7 2022. Test rode one today...
You didnt get it did you? The gen 6's are much better. The Fuel EX 2023 model's have much better geometry for uphill and downhill.

@@Blake953 gosh id never do 6ft drops with a fuel EX. You want an enduro bike specifically made for that or you will snap your frame.
Thank you! It's a very helpful video!
You’re welcome!
Thanks for really clear comparison
No problem!
0:38 bottom right!!! Cool video btw. I really had no clue what the difference between the remedy and slashes were lol.
Hahaha it’s you! And thanks!!

Thank you too!!
RESPEEEEECT!!! ALWAYS AN AWESOME VIDEO!!!! 🙏👌🤙🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!!!
El mejor video que he visto al respecto
¡¡Gracias!!
Tanks for this info.
Of course!
i got the top fuel for exactly the reasons you described... although i really dont like the term downcountry
Sounds like a great all rounder
Is it hard work uphill??
It should be better uphill than the trail bikes....

i love my top fuel, it is awesome, the new fuel ex is very good though.
The same with hardtails please!

honestly because of the top fuels newer geometry, currently imo its more capable than the fuel ex, especially if you put a 130 travel fork on it.
Hi Please can you make a video comparing the best Hybrid mountain bikes like Trek Dual sport against hybrid bikes from other brands ie Polygon x Heist Giant Escape and many others.
Well done, trek has blurred the lines even more by adding additional travel to supercaliber, top fuel, and fuel ex for 2023/2024.
Hi i got a question whats the maximum fork travel for trek slash
Another grate video! Thank you. In your opinion between the slash and the remedy, what would be a better for climbing?
Thanks!! And I would bet on the slash even though it has slacker angles because of the steeper seat tube, but not completely sure
The remedy would be better for up hill and down hill than the slash.
I tried both for uphill and found the remedy to be "lighter" in uphill. I preferred the remedy over the slash.

Im 100kg..is it possible i ride supercaliber?

Thank you!! I appreciate you watching and I’m glad it helped :)
Nice

Is this the gen 6 fuel ex? Would be interesting to see any differences
No this video was made before the gen 6 was released
@@TalalipopMTB yeah ok thanks. Would you still say the Remedy is more capable downhill or does the new geo of the fuel ex bridge that gap

can you make a top fuel lineup

Unfortunately I don’t have a full hardtail comparison yet, but thank you for liking this one!
I would grab a Supercaliber in a heart beat if they had a model that came in at $3K.
