It's clear they can't differentiate broken from fun. Nerfing builds that hit 40k DPS after you break your fingers and burn your brain to execute is simple stupidity.
Scrapper deserved the nerf, but Mirage and Condi Holo doesn't make much sense. Other specs with slightly lower benchmarks are performing significantly better on average on actual encounters. Anet just staring blindly at bench numbers again smh
Is it possible your perspective is limited? Ive always wondered if people saw the data arena net saw, would they still be so critical with their critiques? It’s pretty easy to say the sky is falling.
People are dumb and always consider themselves to be superior to others. Mirage isn't very popular sure but does that justify the fact that the spec benched nearly 47k DPS? The answer is absolutely not. Though, I also think that specs such as Bladesworn, Deadeye, Holo and Mirage should be placed somewhere in the range of 41-43k DPS. Players sould be "moderately" rewarded especially when they have already spent time mastering these more challenging specs.
@sanguin3 how long do you think it will take to balance the classes exactly where they think is fair? Another 10 years? Probably not since the "new" weapons will drop and everything will have to be re-reworked. Maybe in 15 more years it won't need edits.
You can tell which classes anet loves and hates (the blue one and the multi-coloured one) and which classes they don't know what to do with (the dark one and the purple one). The other classes get half-thought changes for the sake of inclusion.
hard disagree on the ele statement. sure, hammer got nerfed back to its previous state, but overall their other dps options are still very much in a healthy shape. In fact, ele sceptor/main & off-hand dagger reworks a while back has made them absolute monsters in other game modes or generally just fitting into other roles; so if anything, Anet loves ele just as much as guards. If u wanna talk about classes that truly got the short end of the stick, look no further than warriors. Warriors finally hitting top 5 spot in the dps benchmark since HOT? Better bring the nerf hammer despite being the only thing that berserkers are capable of.
@@definitelynotdoge7278 I haven't played competitive modes since the vault restricted my choices, and in pve ele is really pigeonholed. If you want damage, get an appointment to have your rsi/carpal tunnel syndrome looked at.
Mirage nerf feels cheap... I think anet doesn't know how to deal with mirage. It will be still ok, since right now it's a bit tuned, but they need to think about it a little bit more.
What's disappointing to me is basically making you play a class a certain way. Did you want to play condi weaver/tempest? Well to bad we're nerfing both! Have fun on power instead. Just leaves me a bit sad :( As for Mirage? Yikes dude..if you wanted to be a sweaty mirage maybe tone it's numbers down a bit. But now I can really justify playing it over Virtuoso
Having a 38k dmg dealing minion that follows you around is stupid. I am glad anet is keeping minion builds down in pvp. Not to menshion mechanist is one of the easiest to play classes and it shouldn't be top dps. Not to menshion shift signet is still busted. Mechanist shoukd be easy to play class to help people to get in endgame content, but if they want more they should push themself to learn more complex classes.
it's lame! this is Unnecessary I'm going to quit this game until they fix my Elementalist! what is the point of this? It's pve they should nerf on WVW, PVP! where people can get affected! pve doesn't damage the game experience from other players

@@FoulPet your opinion is a fair one.
Is the dmg scroll text with the dmg type a mod?

Proving once again that Anet needs some player consultants they actually listen to

100% I agree with you there
And next patch they'll buff and nerf again. Figure if you've played 5-10 years, people would be used to the fhkery.

And there's Mechanists being scolded at PvP for being a Mechanist and need 100 sec to reach 38k DPS on golem while being one of the hardest to use lol

@@thelastshadow8623 easiest to play if u use the jdrive build which has low DPS
the ones that reach 40k dps uses 3 kits.
@@TheEightDomain nope jdrive is just superior on c mechanist . Alacrity uses 3 kits. (Check snowcrows)
