That 50g weight is 12500 with long arm and additional counter weight , thumb. I have same 2 machines. My friend has angle blade, his weight is 13000. Lbs.
I’ve rented the 17G several times, very user friendly little unit. The factory thumb on them is surprisingly strong too. I don’t think they offer many packages but that would be my buy if getting into that size class, bobcat, kubota, tackeuchi and cat are fairly clunky in that size class.
Great comparison thanks for the info!
Glad it was helpful!

Hitachi builds a great mini excavator. Hopefully deere continues to use Hitachi built machines
I hope so too!
Thank you
If you only had one which would you choose?
I’d probably go with the 50, biggest reason being its ability to load tri-axle dump trucks. Can only load off a pile with the 35.
I own same machines , Hitachi /deere and takeuchi builds best minis
I agree, I’ve pretty much tried everything on the market and there’s a reason I went with these ones!
nice machines i’m lookn to get one good info thanks
No problem 👍 hope this helped
Looking at getting the lil brother to those two, 17g coming to the Cay. Anything to watch for?
