HI. Just to clarify, Dream and Passive!Nightmare are brothers, Dream and Corrupted!Nightmare are NOT. This has been confirmed by jokublog in one of their posts and has explained that due to the corruption Nightmare gained from the dark apples he ate, his whole being changed, therefore making him an entirely different being. However, Dream still considers Nightmare as his brother but unfortunately for him, Nightmare doesn't share the same sentiment. I hope this clarifies things for people.

@@aspect2338 firstly those comparisons are not at all true. While you are correct in saying that are/were brothers that isn't the case anymore as corrupted nightmare is a entirely different entity than passive nightmare.

I have re-watched this for years and other creators who also did the idea but made it their own but I've always wondered why no one ever had someone straight up tell the Dream sans with wings "for someone who wants to erase all negativity you are pretty negative yourself, shouldn't that mean you should be executed as well?" Like he is condemning his own brother to it in most of these and even the AU but doesn't see that as a negative. How can he not realize by being the thing of positivity but never actually making the people around him happy that it's negative? He's on a power trip and I find it hilarious that he thinks he's right when yes he is the opposite of nightmare in the "original" world but he Is so far opposite that it's now toxic just like negativity. It's like "be happy or f---ing die" basically. Which is the opposite of happy. That's making others pretend.
