Ahhhhhhh! Thank you for dropping this, probably the best surprise to have when you jump out of the shower. This band changed my life two years ago with their kexp set and even inspired me to pick a guitar up, along with some Rhodes and a gnarley bass.

Indeed...just listened to 3 of the songs...and dear god, I think this is the best I've heard from them thus far, and this is after having listened to "sleeping through the war" and "Lightning at the door" albums on constant repeat in my car for the past 6 months, they're a F*cking AMAZING band!
They aren't huge because though they're good they have a few little flaws that seem to come through on every album. They're not refined enough - hit n miss songs

I gave blood but it came back and bit me. I listened for a second but the noise was un in prerpretable. I stmbled into something unstationary and it accepted me.
Absolutely ....Doors....Deep Purple....Zeppelin.....Cream......Sabbath.....Morphine..... old Delta Blues flavors....Skip James, Blind Willie Johnson....and even some Prog and Post Rock ......all channeled through a modern lens. They draw from a ton of influences. If you haven't seen them live....I highly suggest you do. The albums are great...but Live is where they shine.
