I just made a deal with my mates that we should play this in our "band". The first thing I did when I came home was to look for the song at DrumsTheWord. Thank you!
You are such a good teacher 🙌 almost all of the tutorials I find are people just playing slowly while putting a scary sheet of music that I as a beginner can’t even read. But you break it down adding on each step, making it easier to follow while I at same time CAN read the music sheet as it progresses. You saved me and my yearn to learn 🧎♀️
I thank you very much sir because you are the reason i'm getting back into drumming. After five years of drumming(me being 13 right now) i got bored of drumming and to a really long break. But now because of your video's i'll have another go at it;)
could u do red light indicate doors are secure? the little crazy bit at the start like - hi hat, snareeeeee, hihat, snaaaree, tom snare tom snare, ride bell :L something like that :D
Hey mate maybe a strange comment but specifically want to let you know that for me the extra 5% of nerdy tips really is what I am looking for in a teacher, you say it’s not important but actually I think for those who care it makes a big difference! You do a fantastic job of explaining this stuff! I am a beginner and believe with anything in life the extra 5% will eventually differentiate you if you are serious! Excellent 5/5 video :)
Love what you are doing here! As a member of the community of new learners who relates to the need for extra nerdy details could I make a suggestion? Drum/musical jargon is not very well documented online, so maybe a 5 min video to go through definitions of words like ‘snap’, brush, rim, dynamics, ghost etc. might help those who also have no musical background? It seems like concepts/definitions like this get lost in the videos and occasionally you feel stupid for not knowing them! Thanks for the awesome content again.
Love your video's (you remind me of Mark Watson) :P, Could you do a video on 'Throw Away Your Television' by RHCP.. There are a few drum covers done, but none of them sound right.. Thanks x
Mate this channel is awesome! I just scrolled through all the songs you guys uploaded, so much helpful stuff Can you maybe do "down with the sickness" some day, this might be very helpful for doublebass amateurs (like I am one) Greetings from Germany, keep up the good work 🤙
Thanks very much and greetings from the UK! And yes, I might be able to do some Disturbed in the future but can't promise anything. Thanks again for your kind words and interest in my lessons! Rob
WELL FIRST OF ALL GREETINGS FROM BOLIVIA I´M LEFTHANDED AND IT WAS VERY DIFFICULTTO PLAY FOR ME BUT FINALLY I DID IT THIS GREAT SONG THANK TO YOUR VIDEO!!
Yo guys Ik it sounds weird at first but if you’re struggling with the actual beat, don’t play the hi hat with your hand on beat one. It brings basically the same result and I found it slightly easier
Check out a LOAD of other Arctic Monkey video drum lessons here if you like...ruclips.net/video/ehoo3GK7qRQ/видео.html
Thank you, that's very kind of you to say. I'm so pleased that drumming has become a part of your life again! Welcome back! :)

I can play it but not two times in a row, any tips?
I know it sounds dumb, but do it looking to the drum sheet and slowly, then you start speeding up. Try that a few times until you nail it
