    You can turn the Mesa into a Titan sized camp stove by taking the short utensil holder from IKEA and chopping it down to make a cook ring for it (I used my Dremel tool w/ a cutoff wheel). It's a perfect fit to sit on the Mesa's existing ring.

    I like the Mesa for being more of an ambiance-type stove. I have a Breeo fire pit, but want a tabletop stove for that cozy outdoor feel while watching tv in the patio. Nice video. Thank you.

    The flame color difference between the Mesa vs the Lite & Campire is because the FLAME RING on the Mesa concentrates the flame better than the COOK STAND on the other two.

    What make the mesa better to use with pellets is it's pellet adaptor wich the others don't have. At leat the flat one they have to not allowed the air flow to go int the pellets as efficiently as the curve pellet adaptor of the mesa. The solostove company should produce and sell appropriate wood pellet adaptors to the lite, the titan and the campfire.

    I sourced a drain cover off ebay looks the same as the adaptor to fit my campfire.i have the mesa campfire and ranger.find the campfire most versatile size and great to cook on using pellets .when filled to an inch below the air holes burns for a good amount of time to cook a good meal.if you were to buy one I would go with the campfire over mesa .it
    gives off more heat as a mini fire pit and also cooking facility

    You can purchase the cooking ring for the Titan. It fits the solo stove Mesa and you can purchase the campfire cooking ring. It fits the Mesa XL.

    Perhaps the difference in the color of the flames is because it is the first burn of the Mesa.

    Nice comparison of these stoves. As another person commented, a wire sink strainer works as a pellet adapter. I purchased one in the plumbing section at the hardware store for my Titan. Not sure how well the light weight screen of the strainer will hold up to the heat. Do you have any concern about your glass table top breaking from the heat?
    I have considered trying a Lodge dutch oven stand to give the Titan the same lift as the legs that come with the Mesa.

    The Mesa is great for, as the name suggests, put on a table on the front porch and have a small fire, even in the rain.

    I guessing the esa burns different because of the different pellet adapter with its cone shape Thanks!

    I am assuming you are underneath a covered patio in this video? I have always wondered if the campfire is safe under a patio cover.

    • @raymondr698
      @raymondr698 Год назад

      Yes, it’s a covered patio. There is not enough heat produced by the Campfire to cause a concern.

    Hey. Thanks for the video. My guess as to why the flame looks good with the mesa is because it isn’t adapted by 3rd party equipment, and is specifically designed for that fuel by engineers. Given the product is all about smart air flow, I suspect the Solo Stove engines have worked their magic found the best balance.
    One thought i have (not tested yet), would be to put some pebbles at the bottom. This should help hold the wood pellets, and potentially encourage more air flow.

    FYI-You don’t need the Titan; it’s pretty much the exact same size as the Mesa:

    I think the solo stoves burn more efficiently when the top is flipped down (not for cooking). Don’t quote me on that
