It’s a tradition in Spain to celebrate NY outside in the plaza together with everybody else. Restaurants are closed so better prepare food yourself, eat dinner early or order takeout in advance. I know for sure you will enjoy your holiday there!
The main street for celebration is C. Marquez de Larios. Nice hotels in the vicinity: Vincci Larios Diez, Only You Hotel Malaga, Soho Boutique Equitativa, Hotel Larios Malaga, Petit Palace, Room Mate Valeria
