I agree with you. As I have also got older I have such a different feeling for Christmas and the birth of Christ and sentimental as well. I can never be in a choir. I would continually be having tears down my face singing as I listen to the words in the songs. ❄️🎄 It’s so nice and festive! Love those stair mats to break up the white a bit.
oh me too!! i would not be able to get through most of these christmas songs! lol "I'll be home for christmas" hits hard for me being across the country from my family!

Oh yes, I am much more sentimental and nostalgic about everything the older I get. I'm a grandma and can't sing Christmas hymns in church because they make me cry (can't sing the national anthem either, lol). My brother and I are very nostalgic about our childhood homes and I look them up on Zillow a couple times of year just to see them. I do just what you do with the leftover ornaments, put them in various containers and then sometimes down the middle of the Christmas dinner table (with greens and other decor of course). Porch looks lovely! We lived in Tampa when we were first married and I remember those warm Christmas's !
