Happy Birthday Bobby BLITZ Elsworth. Where It Hurts is the best and most brutal opening track of all time.
I got this album from a highschool buddy who didn't like it. I put in on and was hooked immediately. Been a fan ever since.
This is THE perfect training music for fighters.
this song is one of the reasons D.D. Verni is one of my favorite bass players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love DDs tone here on this album
The best Thrash band.
The most consistent Thrash band.
Love the bass sound!!
love that main riff
Hit me where it hurts!🤘🏻🤘🏻❤️
Bobby Blitz
Whoever choreographed this video needs to teach a class.
I am hooked on this one. Pure energy of the guitar riff moves my forward every morning.
Excellent job with lyrics' imagery.
Love that intro!
Damn, after listening to Horrorscope, I saw that 'I Hear Black' was groove metal, and for a second there, I thought Overkill would change their style ( like Therion ) forever. When I listen to this now, I'm assured! \m/
CryingZombie666 Yea, while I do very much dig "I Hear Black" still to this day, at the time I was concerned it would be a new direction for them.. so glad it wasn't.
Living For The Kill I don't mind if a band tries something new for a change, but if they change the style/direction FOREVER, they would become another Metallica. Recently, I started to listen to Testament and I see that they kept doing something new, adding heavy metal, groove metal and death metal to their style, but they always kept the thrash root and I like that. That's why I respect Testament now more than ever. And of course I still respect Overkill not only for their decision not to change the direction forever, but also for their awesome music :) . For the Brand! \m/
They did change for a while
Their 90s and 80s metal is all thrash but very different styles
Now with their 2000s stuff they have gone back to their 80s style thrash and it's just as good as the old stuff
themetalbutt No, their 90's style was mostly groove metal save for Horrorscope and W.F.O.
I Hear Black was a huge change for me but there’s some good tunes not as good as Horrorscope or WFO
Immortality has been achieved! Rock on forever fuckers!!
Holy frag!!!! i just found another favorite song!!!
Just happened to me lol
Fuckin Overkill way underrated
Super bass and super solo

Needs more bass. jk! Great song! Overkill is the most consistent band in metal.
Brutal riffage.
I love Overkill...In my book, the more consistent thrash metal band along with Sodom and Tankard...that is, the more consistent thrash metal band in the US...Riding the wind on a stormy night...
