      Thx! I love swapping filament to get a two-color look, and this project has a bunch of them!

    This is cool and all, but.... gee-golly-gosh-darn-then-there-don't-chya-know-then-there-Bobby like, this lil' 3d printed dealy is cool and all- but I wanna know about those casio SK-5's you modified. You got videos of those things in operation? or anything? I have an sk-5, two sk-1s (one of which was circuit bent in following a person named "tablebeast"'s method, I also have a Yamaha VSS-30, and a Yamaha VSS-200. So these little sampling "toys" can actually do quite a bit of interesting stuff even without mods- just by sending sounds (bouncing them between the units and progressively modifying them). Dude, hit me with some deets on your music that you make. Oh, I also use a Nintendo DS-Lite (running Korg DS-10 to feed samples to the keyboards- it also is responsible for the drums entirely.) Here's a nice little excerpt which hasn't as much to do with bouncing the sounds back and forth between units- ruclips.net/video/mjY52f6LrZc/видео.html here is one that actually sounds pretty terrifying, honestly, between the VSS-30 and an unmodified SK-1- ruclips.net/video/aVqKhyT41Tk/видео.html (scary sounds kick in around 2:20)

      @@AndrewSink How hard would it be to move the electronics and reconfigure this into a tie? Do you think?

    • @AndrewSink
      @AndrewSink  4 года назад +1

      100% possible, for sure! You could put the 9v on the back, and replace the switches on the keys with soft-touch switches!

      Right?! Too bad I built it a few months ago! 😅 At least making the video still counts as a project!

      Holding up great, I'm actually making a new version (POLY555) right now! Last clip is Shave and a Haircut!
