Love all the way from Guam it's nice to see melodic ideas shared without it being the guitar Olympics,I feel most bands in general today always try to outplay each other that much talent and fire power on stage gracefully guitarists should aspire for this instead fucking cock measuring shit
EH JIMMY., WHAT WERE THE NAME OF ALL THE PLAYERS? I RECOGNIZE SOME OF THE GUYS. CIAO DINO DUPREE. {AKA SEBASTIANO ANTONINO BATTAGLIA.} dinodupree@hotmail.com.
This is one of the best lessons you ever put up. What did I learn here? First, I learned how to play along with multiple guitars and not step all over any one else. Everyone knew their part and laid out when it was necessary. Next, I learned how to solo with the emphasis on musicality and taste when putting together a good solo. No one was out to show anyone how many notes they could play in a short amount of time. It was a no "shredders" allowed kind of thing with no one trying to outshine anyone else. It was all team work with the final result in mind. Finally and most important for me was when it was best not to play at all. I'm going to treasure this video. Thanks so much for all your lessons.
Hey jimmy that was unbelievable and why is it every time you take a solo frank gets the biggest smile on his face, I guess he's like the rest of us thank you Jimmy.
That was the best jazz guitar and bass combo I've seen and heard in a long time! With the collective talent present on that stage, the customers got their money's worth and much more. Respect!
This post is an award winner ! There's many years of experience conversing on that stage. The big lesson is listening to your comrades. Sometime the most musical option is to lay out and listen (at least for me) 👍Thanks Jimmy, and your Doctor as well for the videography ! Infected canker sore was a nice coda !
This video is a great study of the sound of certain amps with archtop guitars. I think the takeaway is: your tone is in direct proportion to the amount of weight your willing to schlep. Masterful playing by all!
(we) cant thank you enough for that!!!! some of the best stuff i've ever heard! good vibes... you guys obviously just click in! thanks so much for posting this & the previous clip! if you have more ..please post it :-D cant find the words how happy i am to see you still playing out there ...still on fire!!! god bless you... hope to meet you one day.... best regards from switzerland - your biggest fan - pascal
Frankie V continues to impress me as a great all-around player. His rhythm playing can’t be over-estimated and he appeared to have the most fun of everyone on stage that night. Does anyone know the make of his guitar with that nylon-string type of headstock, no volume/tone control knobs near the pickguard, and the different take on f-holes? I like the sound he gets and the fact that it’s not a big (L5 type of big box) arch top.
Not only loved the music, but loved the way you all shared the limelight, without stepping all over each other.... AAAAAAppppppppppllllllaaaaaaauuuuuddddddiiiinnnnnnggggg tonze
now you know why you never pay atintiin to the comments cuz anyone that thumbs down or dislikes this is another person in the house playing there tunes and will never in there lifetimeexperince what you just did and have fun with it. JB you are the real deal! Style Matters and your one of the greats!
While watching the Iridium the last two days I kept thinking to myself that whoever shot the video deserves a little love. The soloists were well-framed and overall the camera was quite steady. Thumbs up to the videographer!
@@JimmyBrunoJazz That's , what they're supposed to do : Make our lives somehow better..next thing would be driving down the damn weatherman..haha..love ya, big hugs from the kuckucksuhr from germany, Olli
Another stella video. Very enjoyable watching and listening to the interactions amongst everyone. Amazing how music business has devolved to where there are few media outlets for this style of music to be shared. Just another casualty of the almighty dollar unfortunately. If it doesn't go Thump, Thump, Uh, Uh and some studio generated sound with fill in the blank (expletive or innuendo). It won't make the amount of money desired.
the only thing going on on that stage was admiration and respect...
I would call it "The latest release from the This is How its Done Department." Best inspiration I had in a long time.

Chuck Finley It’s in Eastwind Frank Vignola model it has regulat round wound strings heavy gauge
Jimmy Bruno Thank you for the info, Sir!
The guitar is an Eastman... Frank Vignola model. Not an Eastwind... 😎
Jay Seibert I can’t stop laughing. That was as good as the weather guys predict the weather
The volume and tone controls are on the underside of the pick guard. I am an Eastman guitar owner...
Looks like a fun evening! James' tone is wonderful.
