Cracking up about the intro rant. I don't know what else the haters have been watching, because these are seriously the best videos I've found for riding tips. Hope you keep making them!
threepen pals very few haters out there, and they barely rank as "dislikers" really and are usually teenagers. not that i've got it in for Y genners, the young girls and guys in our trials club are really switched on and even hang out with us old fogies willingly... :-)
I must emphasize that I am not complaining! ... but I really was ready for a nap after watching several of your vids in a row ... at first I was thinking of converting these vids to mp3's and playing it at night before going to sleep. However, the humor is absolutely astounding and the sporadic bursts of laugh would not allow me to enter even the 1st stage of NREM sleep. In all honesty, I am very grateful for every single one of them, for these tips are insane time/$ savers if one is trying to learn by trial and error method without professional coaching. They are so bloody entertaining that sometimes I feel I am watching them for jokes and not for tips on riding . But there must me so many weeks of your life invested in making these videos, that I really hope it itself provides contentment for you because not even million subscribers would be able to compensate. Cheers from the northern hemisphere !
These videos help reinforce the technique they are teaching. When I ride I can remember things I saw in the video and apply it in real time. Which in turn makes me ride better and have more fun. This is all great content that you have been putting out!
MrWalkerds cheers mr w. i find the same thing, remembering the stuff and applying in real time. an advantage of video editing is the info tends to actually stick in my addled brain more than normal!
I love everything about this channel. The information is clearly presented with clear footage of what Is explained. The disclaimer makes the video that much better aswell. Keep up the awesome work! (From a kid who's less than 20)
I so love those disclamers man hahaahah awesome stuff ! idc if your monotone I feel like your teaching me all I need to know and I feel like it does make a difference in my riding. Thx man
I'm 18 and i love your videos, don't change. If someone doestn't like your style they should just unsubscribe and stop wasting their time writing dumb comments under your videos.
thanks mike, no plans to change that's for sure! as usual the disclaimer is pure tongue-in-cheek. i mainly trials ride with the teenagers in our club and these guys and girls are a pleasure to hang out with and give me plenty of hope for the future... :-D by the way, your name sounds very famiilar for some reason, hehe!
Sean Large that's great sean. i started putting the text in when i realised a lot of people watching have english as their second or third language. figured it was probably easier to read the notes rather than listen to a nasal australian drawl... :-D
Really enjoy all your videos and find them VERY helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to do them, each one is a new challenge for me to try and learn that technique.
dereksmay awesome to hear derek... met someone the other day who paid $300 for a day's training with a certain world famous rider who was a bit disappointed he didn't learn more. there may be soemthing to watching everyday gumbies attempting this stuff than incredibly talented riders doing it perfectly every time?
I just wante'd to say thank you. I'm totally new to this kind of stuff and I hope next year your tips on practacing balance and short wheelies will help me to have a lot of fun besides the road :D
I would like to lodge a complaint about the complaints and people complaining! Knock it off! Great info and great video! Love your stuff man, you do a great job even if it is on Orange. :-)
Awesome video and series! I am a car guy and the way you communicate the physics and re-play key pieces, it's really perfect for me.. Example: riding in a rut to get side bite. I hear it and it's a big duh to myself but believe me this stuff doesn't come natural even with years of learning and feeling vehicle dynamics. Thank you much!
Charles Stewart cool, good to know it works charles... i know everyone learns things in different ways so try to get the info across in various ways... spoken, printed text, slow and normal motion, the mechanics of it all etc. lucky there aren't too many female riders as i'd be crap at the more intuitive/emotional side of riding lol.
Another fan of your disclaimers here. Too monotone? I think your cadence and delivery is perfect for your style of humor. Plus the videos are great and make me want to get out and ride. A naked lady here and there might not hurt though...
thanks kris. i completely forgot to include katie m. in this vid but will make sure she makes an appearance in the next one. she won't be naked though, as (1) i would feel like a dickhead around the wonderful women i ride with, and (2) katie m's not that sort of girl but she will have the recommended daily intake of cleavage and thighs as recommended by the USFDA and other regulatory bodies.
JujuARod a lot of dual sports are too heavy for cross training really. many are 125kg or more, while we are riding two strokes at around 102kg. the only two dual sports i've had are the DRZ400 and DR650 so couldn't really comment on others.
I fucking love your vids and your monotone voice!! keep up the great work! Ohh and good news! (to me) I ditched that sleezy ol 4 speed 05 yz450f for a 04 KTM 450 exc!! wooooohhooooo! no more stalls!! love your vids cheers from a 23 year old from California!
again great vid, it`s obvious you get better and better at it, and i want to give you an advice, you should be trying to pick up some speed by now, what you guys are doing is extremely cool, but putting all you have learned together with speed and basic enduro mentality you get do be great, i own a trials bike and a 4 stroke dirt bike, i like playing around with the 4stroke alot but because of overheating i also need speed most of the time, and also no cross training buddies only enduro buddies....but i love racing around the trails with speed and the extra ballance from cross training really helps alot, just go out a day or two without cross training in your mind just go full throttle as much as possible, then go back to cross training and so on and so forth i think your skills will explode
Radu Goguta thanks but not interested in speed any more. way too many serious injuries in our wider riding group in 2013. our main road organiser got a brain injury and may not be able to ride any more.... and quite a few of us are in our 50s and 60s now so the bones snap too easily.

Perfect--seeing a woman riding may even be better than seeing her naked! (may, the jury's still out on that one, but they're definitely close)
Kris Farrin I believe Katie M = KTM. ;)
Haha, Mark Griswold, I feel like an idiot for totally missing that, however I still stand by my comment. :D

This helped a lot thanks
Thank you for the content. Cheers
Glad you enjoy it!
Great vid
Another amazing vid!!!
Where are you guys located?
Awesome videos, but they could use more disclaimers!! HAHA Keep up the amazing work!
dutton2003 exactly what we were talking about yesterday! there may be another disclaimer at the end of the vids soon....
Not sure which is better, the disclaimers or the techniques...either one is a win / win! You do the math - HA! =0)
Can you list some good and inexpensive dual sports that are good for this? I had a dr200 but it was recently stolen. Is that a decent bike ?

Is this in Australia
If so ware abouts
ENDURO MANIAC yup, a mix of southeast queensland and northern nsw
where about's do you guys ride?
Jarod Robbo northern nsw and southeast queensland
For us "old farts" it will always be Graham Jarvis , he is almost as old as I am. 😄
Go Graham! Our crew are either his age or older so we always hope he'll win.

lol and i've got a relatively light aussie accent!
How about long steep climbs with multiple rock faces? Lol 🙋♂️🤷♂️
Lol, just read the disclaimer! Love the 'monotone' anyway, don't change for no-one, especially for some pizza faced teenager....
hehe! it's actually only a fair small percentage thankfully, plenty of young chaps and chapettes seem to be liking the vids
