It was impossible to get away from the Farmville requests back in the day when i used facebook. You were all excited about getting messages and it was so disappointing when EVERY TIME it was Farmville.
This feels wild to me considering that “FarmVille player” has always been synonymous with “people who only play mobile games but still call themselves gamers”
I’m option 5 Which is basically the same except with the addition of having seen a image of it, not knowing what it was, seeing the video cover looked kinda like it, then watching the video. Oh and having heard of it first on INFINITE CRAFT…
As a person who played these games when I was young, it’s always SO hard to find the reboot projects. Although they’re heavily flawed, the nostalgia is still there, there’s always replay ability especially for those who spent their teenage years bombarding their Facebook friends with FarmVille, Yoville and Happy Pet notifications. Thank you for mentioning the project as well, I went straight to finding where they were hosting this and joined.
I begged my parents to let me get Facebook in 2010 because I saw some older girls playing Farmville. It took over my family and my lives. We couldn't stop playing. Mom would get up super early to harvest her blueberries. We were all collaborating with friends. I still get memories popping up from my farm. I think it is what started my farming simulator obsessions. Even in minecraft, I just farm
Oh my God same😭 we would be on shifts to harvest. We'd avoid leaving the house within a certain timeframe if our crops would go bad. It was wild tbh. I'm also obsessed with farming, games and irl lol
Back when Farmville 1 was around, Zynga had this thing where they would use the exact same character assets across multiple games such as of course Farmville 1, YoVille (now YoWorld and no longer owned by Zynga), and the short lived Farmville spin-off, Frontierville.
My most prevailing memory from FarmVille was how my friend’s mom added me on Facebook just so that she could have another person to send FarmVille requests to. I’d come home from school every day to the max possible requests from her 😂
I remeber playing this on my dad's Facebook account, and him and my mum creating seperate accounts for my pet Guinea pigs so that we could keep playing without me accidentally spending real money on time skips for the crops. It was part of the morning routine for quite a while. I was also obsessed with the restaurant game but I can't remeber what it was called for the life of me, likely because I was only about 4
on goodie this takes me back. farmville 2 on facebook was my jam. my whole family played. those games on fb really hit different back then, there wasn’t quite anything like those. and i was so committed to the farm too, without paying obviously so i just kept grinding. fee games nowadays can get my attention like that lol i just found your channel btw and i dig your vibe! will be checking out more videos :)
FarmVille 2 was the best!! I absolutely loved that game. Don’t really do online games anymore, but got hooked on playing them for reward (Fetch) points. Downloaded FarmVille 3 and it’s the absolute worst! So hard to get XP.
I felt called out for that second reason but also…im…so surprised there is FIVE farmville games. I bet there is a 6th one that in VR. They have such a strong staying power
This dug up so much forgotten time from my formative years spent on farmville and other facebook games. I never bought anything in the game so instead I had an alarming amount of random friends on facebook just for those games that had those "ask friends for help" request that i now have to imagine were extremely annoying. I thank god for stardew valley and the metric ton of farming games it spawned for depopularizing this model. (I also wandered into that MMO thing once, it looked like a janky zynga version of habbo hotel? Today I cannot find proof of it ever existing)
I will stand by the fact that Farm Town was not the rip-off, FarmVille was, and Farm Town was the superior game, even if it had slightly inferior graphics. I’ve always thought this, and will choose to stick with this! That said, FarmVille was definitely more popular.
i just remember strawberry and mastery for strawberry for some reason:D also trees.. btw for some time when i played farmfville, you would download app which you would run for some time on your browser and it would search through all your friends and do activities, so when you logged back into your game, you would get hella bunch of stuff for free, that was busted:D
I have Country Escape on this computer, I haven't booted it up in ages, and I probably don't have a save file on it anymore, but it is still installed and on my Start Menu.
Just loved this video as someone who invested way too much in Farmville 2 (time - and actual cash!) this was a trip down memory lane!!! You should seek out Cityville by the same team 😊
I played farmville a ton back in the day. but then they started adding crops you had to pay to unlock. the thing I focused on in the game was getting "mastery" of all the crops available. so I quit playing once I realised they were just going to keep releasing these things for money, that used to be free... sadge
My mom used to be Literally addicted to farmville, she would spend every moment she could playing it, i dont even want to know how much money she ended up spending on it. So i dont quite have the nostalgia for this one like some others do... I did get a facebook account at a younger age than i should have specifically to play games tho lol
Farmville was the thing back then, all I remember was having only Story of Seasons (known as Harvest Moon back then, name changed after the 3DS era) back then so this was a welcome thing. I never had mobile games. So it was addicting lol. I played Farmville and Farmville 2, didn't realized there were 5 of them... ....I never spent a single penny on this game and you got hacks? Omg...Maybe I should replay Farmville with these hacks... Bro Facebook doesn't even think my real first name is real....and that is when I stopped using Facebook. Wow I'm surprised Farmville 2's graphics still looks amazing. ....Dang Farmville really fell. The creativity was kinda fun in 1 and 2. Old? You're like in the lower half of 20's or something.
Anyone has the link to the recompiled Farmville version he's talking about? I'm not sure if he's saying Farmville replow, repload or something else and I couldn't find it
I miss the charm games like these brought. It's why I still play games like Animal jam in 2024 😭 the 2010's games just had such a charm! And I've played all farmville games, none of them got me hooked like Tropic Resort did. Hands down was the best in the series for me
My mom used to play farmville 2 EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY FOR YEARS, and then flash died and she had to stop, but yeah I thought that she was juts really good in the game to have SO MANY things until I saw her buy something and realized it wasn't really free, started hating micro transaction games since then
Oh my goodness ... someone who knows my pain! Why ... oh, why ... can't things just stay the way they are ... ? ... !!! Why ... after we gave them the best of our life ... did they have to leave us like they did ... ! ... why ? ... why !!! Why can't we just pay 20 bucks a month to play which ever one we want ... the way we want. Why ... does life have to be this way ... ? ... why !!! It's exactly the same with Sims2 ... and Sims3 ... and Sims4 ... it's pure torture !!!
there was even a better farmville like game ON facebook that was called klondike, I dropped farmville for that one and while it wasnt anything special it was fun to waste time on, and pretty sure farmville 2 came out AFTER klondike came out, Klondike had a whole adventure mode and crafting system.
for anyone wanting to play farmville again, Please play Stardew Valley instead, comes for both PC and Mobile, its 200X better than this trash, it is made by a single guy and he deserves your support more than these cash grab corporations.
It was impossible to get away from the Farmville requests back in the day when i used facebook. You were all excited about getting messages and it was so disappointing when EVERY TIME it was Farmville.
I love being option 3: Never heard of the game, never played the game, but I thought it sounded interesting.
I'm option 4 then cuz I've heard of it but never played it so I was curious how it played 😂
Yeah, I'm 3 but I didn't really care about it because I think farming games are boring.
This feels wild to me considering that “FarmVille player” has always been synonymous with “people who only play mobile games but still call themselves gamers”

as someone who is also obsessed with farming games the app hay day is really fun!!
If you ever wanna play Minecraft feel free to hit me up 🤣

I wish someone could revive Cafe World, I was OBSESSED

Hi. I've heard that there are some minigames in Farmville... What might these minigames be?
2:03 "Honestly I feel like the creator of Farmville feels like Oppenheimer" 💀
I had many unicorns, pegasus, and alicorns in farmville 1. I miss them very much.
I remeber playing this on my dad's Facebook account, and him and my mum creating seperate accounts for my pet Guinea pigs so that we could keep playing without me accidentally spending real money on time skips for the crops. The middle school tbh joke was SO REAL lol

You are constantly getting haunted by that one Nintendo Direct 😂
i wish they would bring back cityville
I miss Petville.
@@iimuffinsaurpetville was my game back then, and i miss it.
Omg I remember the Farmville rip-off that had the hub world, I loved playing it
"If you clicked the video, it was for one of two reasons-"
WRONG! I did it because I like your videos and can watch you talk about anything.
me too
Same, he is seriously charming and funny. For sure underrated.
I felt called out for that second reason but also…im…so surprised there is FIVE farmville games. I bet there is a 6th one that in VR. They have such a strong staying power
Farmtown was the one with the job board thingy
This dug up so much forgotten time from my formative years spent on farmville and other facebook games. we all remember trapping the farmer in hay bales so the actions completed instantly, don't we?
Yes
i just remember strawberry and mastery for strawberry for some reason:D also trees.. btw for some time when i played farmfville, you would download app which you would run for some time on your browser and it would search through all your friends and do activities, so when you logged back into your game, you would get hella bunch of stuff for free, that was busted:D

i used to obsessed with farmville 2 as a kid.
dude u just completely unlocked memories of me grinding FarmVille tropical escape as a child
Just loved this video as someone who invested way too much in Farmville 2 (time - and actual cash!) this was a trip down memory lane!!! You should seek out Cityville by the same team 😊
damn I'm really glad this kinda popped off and reached me, I'm surprised you don't have WAY more subscribers and views
I played farmville a ton back in the day. but then they started adding crops you had to pay to unlock. the thing I focused on in the game was getting "mastery" of all the crops available. so I quit playing once I realised they were just going to keep releasing these things for money, that used to be free... sadge

Hell yeah I remember harvesting corn for my mother 💪💪

Replowed. It's easy to find, subtitles also have it correct.
4:07 i think what you're thinking of yoville. that was also developed by zynga and had social mmo aspects to it
I miss the charm games like these brought. It's why I still play games like Animal jam in 2024 😭 the 2010's games just had such a charm! And I've played all farmville games, none of them got me hooked like Tropic Resort did. Hands down was the best in the series for me
2010 farmville is special.
Best fb game
My mom used to play farmville 2 EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY FOR YEARS, and then flash died and she had to stop, but yeah I thought that she was juts really good in the game to have SO MANY things until I saw her buy something and realized it wasn't really free, started hating micro transaction games since then
I’m going to bet that no game will meet the same hype of my friends mom waking up at 4 am to swap blueberries
Oh my goodness ... someone who knows my pain!

farmville was so big we had a sitcom dedicate an episode on how addictive it was in my country
i just think you should know your haunter light is sick as hell

@@wild180 woah fr?? neon light art is usually hella expensive i gotta get on that

Actually Country Escape is a very nice game... so much better than tropic escape.
I'm a mix between one and two, but I expected there was like ten games, not only five.
My most devastating lost media is spark city world I would do anything to play that again as an adult
4. Video was put on a playlist that I am listening to.
I played Farmville 2. It was fun, but it became so bogged down that the bigger the farm got, the slower it made my PC.
5? I knew there was 3 😭
I’d be interested on hearing more of your social media game takes. I remember being addicted to bejeweled 2 and sorority life in middle school
You seem fun, I'll subscribe
This video is so underrated
0:13 hehehe, wrong! >:D I don't know what game that is and was curious :]
Nevermind, I just forgot about this game 😅
You should play Rimworld for new video 😁
Not me loving Country Escape 😂😂😅
oh HELL YEAH target audience reached
I miss Facebook games 🥲
Just what do I need to do to finished Tuesday special. I’m not sure how to do it
anyone remember frontierville and petville?
Can you leave a link where u can play FarmVille please
The one game you were thinking of may have been yoville?
i knew only of 2 farmville games
and thats because of my mom
My question was mostly "Why?"
Listen the rip off FarmVille game aka farmtown was so much better!!!
🔥🔥🔥
😂 thanks

Hi Timmy, I just sent you an email about an exciting collaboration opportunity.😊
This sounds scammy 😂
