      These inconsistent, subjective grading methods are the reason we developed a new scientific grading rubric a few years ago. Just looking for more intelligent collectors to join our movement. We understand many people have a lot invested in other services, but we are confident in our consistency and hope you are ready to invest in ACTUAL empirically measured grading. -10x Card Grading

      Chris here - I’ve seen no evidence of psa actually tracking serial numbers. I know it’s been discussed and rumored, but I don’t know anybody whose had a card get stopped and not graded because it’s a Regrade.

    The fact that PSA pumps out so many graded cards in a month they cant be taking the proper amount of time to check all aspects of the card.

    Not to be a TAG fanboy, but I've watched videos of people cracking TAG slabs and resubmitting to them and TAG can tell it's a resubmit and will give it the exact same grade and serial number as before. I just think that's so much better than being allowed to resubmit a million times for the grade you want instead of the grade the card deserves.

    • @SpitballinCards

    • @Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin

      Yeah this is a topic that often comes up. I don't think the other companies WANT to stop the resubmitting of the same cards as they just collect double/triple the money on a single card. I'd also be interested to know if TAG charges the subsequent submissions.

    • @doktorcopernikuss
      @doktorcopernikuss 11 месяцев назад +1

      I can't help but think that either we all move to TAG over the next few years, and/or that PSA buys them out (what PSA does from there would be a great question). I've never graded with them, but I have researched this topic plenty and they clearly - repeat, clearly! - seem to be best graders at grading cards, which is, you know, the most important thing that we consider when we grade cards. Also, their slabs are awesome and seem to be the most difficult ones to counterfeit

I also take issue with the upcharging, inconsistent grading, and POP report manipulation. You can't complain about the blatant issues they have and at the same time keep using them. You can read about the Soto Bowman Chrome Super as an example. So I think saying they have “No ethics” is a stretch.

We need to hold the companies accountable when a perfect card is not a 10. we have all the tools to know when the cards are in mint conditions. Like everything in life, we are our hardest critics. So, if we scan our card and it's not a 10, we know it. We hope for a 10, but we are also not expecting an 6. If a card is a 9, and could be a 10, the grader should have to graders notes and free of charge. the fact that some companies charge for graders notes is the same as if I only cared about quality in my job, only if the customer pays a little extra for my product.
