I have a BS and MS in nutrition and an MD practicing nephrology. I am a vegan. Every plant has every essential amino acids but in different proportions so if you eat enough calories with a wide variety of foods you will get all the protein and amino acids you need.
We need to completely decouple nutrition from the idea that we should all be striving for a thin body. Who decided that was the beauty ideal anyway! I eat and work out for health and strength now, and feel so much better than when it was all about being thin in my younger years.

So agree
I didn't understand how you make incomplete protein into complete protein .... Please could you elaborate?
Any suggestions in a protein powder? Some protein powders give me some slight indigestion
Tofu and tempeh have plenty of protein. Legumes also!
Many types of plant protein are complete protein. This lady doesn't know what she's talking about when she says that.
