Thank you for bringing Athen onto your channel! I totally admire his approach. Even though he is fully a true sidereal astrologer his appreciation of astrology in general and his knowledge is so admirable. I love how he doesn’t trash tropical or Vedic systems for being what they are. He chose his preference and that’s what he practices. But he sees that the other systems work as well. They are just different ways of measuring time.
I am using both : tropical and true sidereal in my work offering astrological readings in both. I bought Athen’s system so I’m using his midpoints method in my offerings. Thank you both for sharing. ❤

We spoke about holding respect to all forms of astrological systems. Not one is better than the other.
It’s just finding what works best for one’s personal needs.
I was reading about the midpoint system and the more I see it I can understand it providing more details of the energies between and within the signs.
I’m working with a sidereal astrological planner for 2024. This is my initiation into following the true sky constellations in relation to my natal chart.

When you say sidereal you mean equal constellations? Or do you mean true sidereal? Cause they are two different things.

I should clarify that the planner is using the Lahiri Ayanamsa system, since this was the only “sidereal” option available for the planner.
Nevertheless, it works for me to see how the signs and planets are communicating with each other within my natal chart and the mundane placements.
I don’t know this system but I think it uses equal constellations right? So it is sidereal.

How quickly do the star signs change their dates? If indeed they do as the sky moves.
Athen touched upon that every 72yrs. the signs move one degree. And as time goes on the signs will have advanced at least 2 signs or more.

Yes! Athen’s clear and concise manner of explaining the components of Sidereal Astrology makes it easy to understand.
