In my research it seems hard to justify getting a 950 sc if you already had a 750ti. Any specific reason you didn't chose the 960 SC? The $10 dollar higher price tag of 950 over the 750ti doesn't have substantial frames with the increased speed. Also at 5:02 you had the correct 6-pin power plug you needed for the graphics card, you don't need the adapter that came with the card in your circumstance, changing that will make your build a little bit cleaner and slightly more power friendly.
How's the space for cables at the back? Another review video said there isn't much spare metal on the sides of the back ports of the card, and he had to cut a part of the backplate from his case so the back ports on the card could actually have cables in it. Were you able to plug cables into the card just fine or was it a struggle?
Wing Man H I had no troubles. But I didn't care about the wire management with this PC since there was little room. I just made sure they were out of the way.
You should be good. As long as your motherboard has a pci express 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0 with a graphics slot. The power supply connector provided requires 2 4 pin connections free. So be sure you have that available on your power supply. You should be able to get a decent view of them in the vid if you're unsure.
Yes I did. I like word play & it's a lot more fun to say than superclocked. I'm not one of those guys who likes to be super technical. I'd rather have fun.
Listen man I’m not that much of a pc guy but I’m hoping you can help me, I installed it perfectly fine but when I go to download the drivers it’s says it’s not compatible with this version of Windows but I’m on Windows 10
Hiroshi Watanabe The a10 7800 is built specifically for performance per watt. But with the 3gb GTX 1060 I don't think there'll be to much of an issue. But if you're building a PC I'd go with something in the FX series instead. The A series all have GPUs built in them and can possibly take away from performance.
You're gonna need that extra power for the gpu to work properly. I would recommend replacing your power supply. You can find a good one for $40. At least 350w. I recommend 500w. I have a video on how to replace one if you need it. Just look in my headset and software reviews.
I like to put terms into things people can understand. If someone's looking up this video they probably don't know much about PCs. So I like to put things in a way they can relate to
toqe that just depends if it has 1 fan or 2. They both fit in the same slot the same way but the ones with 2 fans will take up more room in the case. So if you have a small form factor case I recommend GPUs with 1 fan.
Thank you so much, I desperately needed a good guild to installing the GTX 950 SC
Your welcome.
That adapter that came with your card is called a Molex x2 to pci-e 6pin by the way. "The more you know."
LOL Thanks man. I can build a a PC but terminology is not so great lol
Thx! I wasnt sure if it needs a 6pin or not 🐢😊
why did you use the adapter if your psu had 6 pin conectors ? didnt they work?
I like to use everything that comes with it. Lol. I didn't even try it without it.
its recommended you use your psu s cables it even says it in the graphics card manual
SameAtol That was a mistake. I need to update the video. It won't hurt anything but it does cause an almost unnoticeable difference in power.
The cable management in your case triggers me
Lol as long as stuff is out of the way is all that matters to me lol

The 950 is 30% better than the 750TI
hey kenpoluke can you please post a video clearly showing where you plug the power supply things in? thank you :D
I wonder why my card doesn't have that extra socket with the 6 holes for the power supply, mine just plugs into the mother board and that's that..

I mean in the back of the card. Like using HDMI or something, it wasn't a struggle to plug anything in?
Wing Man H No problems whatsoever with this card.
I had the code 43 in this videoboard... some help?
can i connect to thermaltake tr2 500w? my pc:
intel i3
mother asus h81m-k
disc 1 tb

1:12 did he say "supercharged edition" ? hahahahhahahahhahha !!!!!
Yes I did. I like word play & it's a lot more fun to say than superclocked. I'm not one of those guys who likes to be super technical. I'd rather have fun.
+kenpoluke I'm sorry man I didn't mean to make people laugh at you
+Gasoma007 I don't think anybody did. It wasn't that funny lol 😊
+kenpoluke anyways keep up the good work

Try downloading driver booster pro then try updating drivers.
would amd a10 7800 bottleneck with 1060 sc 3gb?? if so how bad would it be? thanks

I only have one of the power things to plug into the power outlet do I have to get one or will it not work?

Hey, I bought the same graphics card as you but when it arrived, it was longer than yours and had two fans instead of one. How did you get yours
You bought the 950 ssc. Mine is the 950 sc.
+kenpoluke oh, thanks
whats the difference tho
416RG the difference is the ssc is "super super charged" meaning it is way more overclocked since it has better cooking with 2 fans
Cable management my dude
SirDrak0 lol yeah I know
Nevermind lol
sc = super clocked
Yup. And ssc is super superclocked 😄
super charge XD, wtf is Super Clocked
Overclocking. Hence the "SC"
ok, I know, but you said supercharged

How many watts is your power supply
You can literally see it
420 w
im such a noob but my gtx 960 broke and i bought 950, does it fit same as 960?

good thing my tower got plenty of room to upgrade, thanks
