Just to clear up any potential misinformation:
- The naughty lyrics rumor is 100% false
- Sony had distribution rights for the soundtrack album. They were the ones who distributed it to streaming services. The contracts for the partnership have since expired, and distribution now falls on Mattel... which is why the songs are not available now. Thanks Mattel.
- The idea of 5 and 6 being the final two movies is a false rumor, as evidence points more towards another whole set of them as a "second season". The crewmember in the email at 5:56 is actually talking about the unrelated Stunt Strikers series, of which was cancelled as well. The crewmember simply got the two projects confused, as ARs season 2 never made it to Mainframe. The "promo" is actually a test animation.
- The Rainmaker thing was not a change in ownership and was simply a name change for the studio. They've since changed it to have Rainmaker as their film division and Mainframe as their TV division. AcceleRacers was cancelled when a Mattel executive pulled the plug for unknown reasons.
- The comic con figures were actually part of the transformable mech car toys that you mention later. They're prototypes 😯
- The reason for AcceleRacers being cancelled for being "more popular than Hot Wheels itself" is completely false. Even the source who claimed that someone in marketing said such mentions that he thinks that reason is "a load of crap". I think we should also account for how bad AcceleRacers actually sold with its toys and poor TV ratings.
Regardless, lovely video Chinny. The theory that CLYP was a result of Gelorum and the Silencerz working together is an interesting idea!

At 6:30 the Karma and Gelorum theory sparked some intense childhood memories. I remember being so psyched-out about that scene of Karma as a kid, like, it felt like it led on to so much more.
I once saw a video of a theory that Said karma is Vert's aunt or cousin, and that vert's mom went missing wile studing the drones wile they were hibernating (waiting for humans to make 300mph capable cars to enter the racing realms), and gelorum used her body or at least her look to disguise herself to trick Kurt, and thats the reason vert's dad joined the silencers
The thing about the realms not being for the drones might be true, in the storm realm if a drone was a few inches off the track it would get hit by lightning, in the swamp, water and ruins realms the creatures clearly target the drones.

And the realm of storm skill is literally stay focused on the track ... So the lightning should be just for show
(This also could be since the drones are machines the lightning naturally tries to find a place to land and metal walking drones sure are good landing points)
The karma / gelorum thing intrigues me so much, because to me it's almost 100% that there was an intention to do something with it, but just a random unfounded theory.

Cool detail I noticed:
In the cavern realm the two most prominent characters are Porkchop and Shirako who are in the lead. Shirako is on pace to finish right next to Porkchop until he plays his music. It actually takes a lot of energy out of a vehicle to play super loud base and this takes away from the energy devoted to his speed (it could also make his aerodynamics worse) so Shirako secured the victory but at the cost of his chance to win.
Shirako is chilling for a good portion of the water realm but still finishes in 2nd or 3rd (if you include taro finishing the first time) and when he got serious he was near the front of the pack.
In the swamp realm, Shirako does not get captured by the tentacle but he’s nowhere close to the finishline which implies that he was fast and skilled enough to evade it but also dicking around and just going wherever sometimes.
In the junk realm, we ONCE AGAIN see Shirako right at the end and near the lead but he sees some robot legs, but they’re on his hood. If he kept going with the legs out of his car they could have gone back to the drones of just fell off but he most likely stopped for a moment to grab legs for sparky
so basically shirako has ADHD

I’ve watched countless shows, anime, movies, etc… besides Acceleracers but it’s still one of my favorite series of all time. The story writing is just so great
I really wish they’d sell these rights to a different company I’d pay whatever I need to to see this perfect series end

The part about acceleracers being more violent than world race, that was the point ! Series grew with me. I seen world race for the first time Christmas when I opened it under the Christmas tree I was 5 or 6.. bam acceleracers came out I was like 12 or 13... perfect... absolutely perfect.
Crazy thing, when the card game was originally put on the Ignition dvd and they name drop silencers before they get introduced in the movies
SCRM and CLYP were retconned as Silencerz and Racing Drones in Acceleracers

I will never get over the fact we never got the 5th movie😔
I like where you mentioned that the world race legs are linked to the racing realms. Its possible that the second leg is connected to the swamp realm as well as the ruins realm but far away since all 3 are in a forest. The 4th leg, hot wheels city, the ice realm and the storm realm can be connected as well. But what about the rest of the realms? I think the metro realm can be connected to hot wheels city but I don't have anything to back that up, the water realm could be near the swamp realm just far away since the swamp realm is close to water. The pipeline realm could also be connected to the cosmic realm since its floating around probably in space. In other words, Highway 35 and the racing realms are all connected in the same world in another dimension.
The fact that some drivers from Highway 35 can be dead or a silenzer is also a possibility with whatever happened in the period between World Race and Acceleracers, Bangee could have been contacted by the silenzers and installed an EDR in his car to escape the swamp realm but I am not sure about the other drivers, but I also have a question. Why did Mayor Wheeler saved Shirako from a drone while Mayor Wheeler was disguised as Monkey?

I think Major saved Shirako for some reason.
1. Major don't want Shirako killed by the drone. However, Silencerz are human too.
2. Major want to scan Shirako's body for another data for disguising. As we know, none of the Silencerz disguised as Shirako. And that bright headlight are the process of scanning.
3. Maybe they want to captured Shirako to be their faction ? (Just like Banjee)
I’d say either the Cavern or Ruins Realm with you not being able to see very well in the Cavern Realm and the Ruins Realm was more and less just a feeling
looking back on acceleracers, karma was mysterious. we didn't really know much about her backstory or anything in general.
You could make a video talking about the changes in the characters from World race - Acceleracers. Like how vastly different Kurt is. In Acceleracers he's laid back and not the leader of Teku while in World race he was the leader and was soooooo arrogant.
And could you also talk about theories on if the movies continued how would you think the story would go based on what we know and how would it end? That would be cool.
In every episode of World Race after the first one, some team has side characters that participated the plot. For example: in the second, we get to see more about Esmeralda and Skeet, the third episode about Rekkas and Chivo, and the fourth episode, Dan Dresden and Toño. With exception of Scorchers.

Well, Krakatoa supposedly has his own scene with Esmeralda, apparently Harrison (Driver of Red Baron) was involved as well, this was proven by one of Jeff Gomez comment in either Reddit or RUclips which i can't remember

The idea that gelorum worked with rouge Accelerons and the drones makes sence they probably approached the silencers who created the scrim corporation as a front to build test and watch driver from around d the world. When the silencers found out who they really were they might have fought back and thus clyp was born as a front for them to do the same
Modern day race cars can take some serious beating at 200 mph the drivers could survive those crashes although there gonna be injured ( along with the scrim tech)
It does appear that the realms may be targeting g the drones even though the drones were designed to challenge the accelerons they might have a way to “turn” the realms on the drones
The accelerons are essentially highly intelligent aliens that have reached godhood through eons of evolution and advancement in technology and there craft just look at the cosmic solar flare and neon pipeline realm you can breathe in space.
Kadeem must have survived the fall the existence of the RD 10 helps prove this (especially when you compare that car to Krazy 8s both are dual engined)
On that note it’s possible the metal maniacs got ahold of drone tech at some point when you look at the existence of Power Bomb, it was never shown and it’s driver is listed as metal maniacs also it’s powered by a hydrogen injected V8 putting out 800 to 1321 hp depending on where you read

Thing about the cars unrealistic powee to performance, the small engines are one thing, you forget that the transmission can make or break how that power is put down, these are specific track built cars with no need for fuel filters egr, and efficient gearing, its all about mopwahhhh
