Same here in the 🇫🇴🇬🇧 wealthy industrialists had home in the Lake District and had smaller commuter launches to travel to the rail terminals to get to the office in cities. The river Thames had popular 'slipper' lauches to commute on from the leafy suburbs to the City. Google slipper launch to see the style.

I owned the GYPSY in Seattle, WA a 48' Shain Trimmership that is now on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. So appreciation of exceptional boats is in my blood. This is such a fine craft it's hard for the general public to realize just how much effort--both monetary and elbow grease--is represented here!

I've seen her by her original name "Jem" one year at Mystic Seaport Museum boat show, Mystic, CT. Would enjoy reading more details, what powers her? Location, list price?
That's basically a very long lobster boat. It's designed to plane along the surface of the water. She almost certainly has a shallow draft. It's absolutely stunning!! 😍 I wouldn't change anything,not even the twin beds in the master. She would be right at home in Maine.
@narragansett she sure would! That is one of the most naturally photogenic vessels I've seen. I live next to a harbor that is full of beautiful schooners and sloops. She would stand out even there. Also, the way she moves in the water is mesmerizing, You can't take your eyes off her. I'm not jealous, but I am!

Very nice boat, but there's some caulk or paint splatters around the toilet, and some areas of yellowing on some of the older surfaces.
The dumbest place to be on a boat is up near the bow, after one minute you want to get out of there in a hurry, you feel very vulnerable.
But how are you going to get it to me here in Phnom Penh?

This is not sped up at all. The speed alteration happens at 0:19 - 0:20, when speed ramped coming off the land to the yacht cruising on the water.
