It's very interesting to hear the Igbo word for spirit is Chi.I named my son Chi but was thinking of an Asian interpretation or meaning inner strength or life force.
some amazing people I know gifted me there collection of masks yesterday they are having to leave the US and go back to Europe. I don't know much about the masks other than they are absolutely gorgouse and I admire them. I was looking for some incite on them and how I could respectfully hang them in my home. I have 4 masks that really stick out to me as important and symbolic if you are interested in pictures and helping explain more to me if you can I would love to email. Also have you ever seen a mask made with real teeth ?
That is so amazing! You are fortunate to have great friends around you. Feel free to email me anytime and I will surely respond. A mask made of real teeth would be quite precious.

I recently bought two African mask off Facebook marketplace one is from Ghana and the other is from Kenya, but after watching this video and part two of your video, I’m not sure I’m advance enough in my spiritual journey to properly clean these mask in case they were used for other purposes, I don’t want anything. I just want to have as decorin my home but now I’m scared to have it
I heard chokwe masks brings wealth. I'm looking for the most popular mask in or near Chad. I'm in Contract with Auset and King Hor of Egypt. Hope to one day grasp a mask that satisfy or execute the contracts.
@11:50 "you don't want to have a spirit you don't fully understand in the confines of your home..." Can we ever fully understand these spirits? Even if we feel we know them, can they not be dishonest with us about their nature? Do we really have any standing to make any negotiations or conditions with these spirits?

I recently came into possession of a Winiama Leper mask, at least I think thats what it is. Masks call out to me, the synchronicity places them and myself in the right place and time for them to end up in my home. I offered this mask rum in lieu of having millet beer. This one feels like it has something dwelling inside it. Where can I find more resources to understand how to care for it?
It would be lovely to consult a spiritualist near you to get a reading on the mask. If there's a presence associated with your mask, find out it's purpose and terms. That's very important to help you determine that your purpose aligns. If the mask truly calls out for you connect with it when you meditate/pray and ask it to open up to you. Be careful
@@SEVICSAFRICA No one in this area has a clue about african masks. My own culture has a masking tradition in which we feed and care for the spirit of the mask but its not entirely the same and most of the information is kept by a secret society that wont just share information to any old neophyte. I know this mask wants to dance, its made that quite clear. My offering of drink came with an exchange of watching over the home, simple exchange. I have not meditated on it opening up to me more then our exchange of shelter and drink in exchange for protection. I do not feel I know enough yet and it may be very unwise for me to toy with forces outside my wheelhouse. I have a number of african items that I believe were made for the tourist trade but I couldn't tell you if I've misidentified an item, for example I have a Nkisi, but it lacks the mirror instead it has a circle shaped into the tummy and seems to be made of some fired clay. But I'll keep doing my research and see if I can find anyone with a knowledge base.
This one jumped off the wall and made its hanging string disappear for half a day only for the string to be next to me in another room, this was before I gave it a drink. Since then it seems to have been appeased and no strange activity has occurred. Even if this was a tourist trade mask, whoever previously owned it or made it I'm sure let an entity house in it. Seems benevolent. As I understand it, the male and female figures on top represent someones ancestors. And the x shape on its plank from my research conveys learning from said ancestors. Ideally I'd return this to its place of origin but thats on the other side of the planet. Its had quite a journey to end up here and I intend to care for it and if the chance ever comes up to bring it back to its homeland I'll do so.
I am genuinely happy for you. If you need help with anything, please let me know. Meanwhile kindly consider becoming a Channel Member, that will be of immense help to us.

Nothing to be worried about. They are probably just modern artworks. But if you want, I could have a look. Let me know if you are interested.

I inherited a mask from my grandfather after he passed. It just says it was made in Ghana.

Hi there! New follower here. Loving your content. What email can I use to ask more information on a mask I have? Many blessings. Asé
The mask is with eagle on the head
The eagle is a sacred bird. The king of birds and often represents the wind elemental. It is good totem on a mask. Do you know the origin of the mask?
Do you have any suggestions for places to buy decorative mask?
Not at this moment. Though I am considering starting an online store.
Did you start your store
